The Witch Farm stars Joseph Fiennes (The Handmaid’s Tale) and Alexandra Roach (No Offence), with original theme music by Mercury Prize-nominated Gwenno. This 8-part series interweaves a terrifying supernatural thriller set in the wild Welsh countryside with a fascinating modern-day investigation into the real-life mystery behind what has been called Britain’s most haunted house.

Oooh thank you! I loved Uncanny and the Battersea Poltergeist!

Thanks for the heads up. I shall be listening. I'm always cheered by Danny's fascination with the paranormal.

Still waiting for the "Bloody hell, Ken" merch to appear (if you're reading Danny).

I didn't know there was a new one!!! Shock I loved the Battersea Poltergeist + Uncanny.

First episode has just popped up on my phone, out today. I came straight on here as I knew there'd be a thread! Grin Thanks Op.

It helps that I really love Danny Robin's voice Blush I'm dead fussy about voices Wink

I’m thoroughly enjoyIng The Witch Farm. I’m up to speed with it and have no idea what on earth might be going on there. I’ve loved all Danny Robins series. He should definitely bring out some Bloody Hell, Ken merch. Thanks for the link to the Fi & Jane epi with him on. Will be listening to that in a minute.

I'm enjoying it of course but I keep thinking why would you stay there! Just move out! But they didn't and then decided to have another baby!?

He does have merch btw. Have a look at his Twitter.

There's another series by him called Haunted, I think.

Loving The Witch Farm but it seems utterly preposterous!

Thanks for link to 'Haunted'. I tried to listen last night, in bed, in the dark, but it seriously freaked me out! Grin

Didn't know about this. Can't wait to listen to it.
WhiskersPete. I'm off to look at Danny Robbins Twitter at the merch thanks .
I totally agree why would you stay in the farm and have another baby there. Id do about a week and be out of there if I was going through that.

Just listened to episode 5. I’ve got proper shivers and I’m a total sceptic. I love Danny Robbins podcasts. Update on Friday!

I’ve binge listened to the lot today. Very spooky, but I love the sceptical bloke’s explanations! Can’t wait to see how it ends. I’m quite familiar with that part of Wales, and as an archaeologist I’m really looking forward to them delving into the history.

Danny Robins sounds very like Greg Jenner, I think.

I absolutely LOVE Danny Robins. He's so good at building suspense and telling a story. His Uncanny podcast is brilliant. I found the final episode quite sad and it was clear that Bill was very susceptible to negative energy.

I'm not sure about that Eddy bloke who turned up and conveniently was able to 'channel' the two boys from the murder case 🤔 I think by that point Bill and Liz were pretty much prepared to accept anything and who could blame them!

I would really like to hear an update from his son Laurence and also the current residents. I wonder if they are experiencing anything.

I was a bit disappointed tbh. So it turns out Bill was 'nearly' indoctrinated into a coven of witches?

Bit of a drip feed that Bill was an alcoholic with significant mental health problems which probably explained a lot of the supposed phenomena.

I just don't understand why they stayed there with all this supposed evil and massive electric bill every month.

Yes, total drip feed!

In one of the case updates, number 2 I think, Liz said that they tried to get rehoused by the council but they just dismissed them. Also, they were so much in debt by that point they wouldn't have been able to rent anywhere privately either I suppose. The landlord could have evicted them. I wonder why they didn't, especially as they owed so much money.

I need to know more about Echo the horse.

Apart from the whizzing electricity meter and sky high bills, it just seemed to me to be a stressed, suggestible and unwell man and manipulative, deluded people (the ones who came to clear the farm of spirits that is) and the rest of the family who suffered from the fallout of Bills illness. The bad luck and animal deaths no doubt could be explained by coincidence or some sort of poisoning or contamination or illness.

I too found Bill's story {Won't put spoilers in} very sad, too, and spent most of last night googling the woman mentioned who remembered what Bill had done..

I was also stunned to read that a Playschool presenter was also a Witch who had been initiated.. Fascinating.
She seemed so jolly.
I think Bill was probably extremely sensitive, too.

Eddie Burkes is a fascinating character, I don't think he was a cheat, he seemed too quiet and modest for that.
{Seen him before on TV}.

Brecon Beacons are eerie.

Stark and brooding, but beautiful in their starkness.
