Radio Times Ambridge Diary 12th – 17th March 2023
Paul the vet isn’t the first newcomer to feel the pull of Ambridge, but his future remains uncertain. It seems a “do” is on the cards, but will Jakob and Alistair feel like joining in the fun?
Helen’s new mission to publicise the dairy is going great guns. But Eddie’s unreliability could throw a spanner in the works of Clarrie’s plans for a day out. What exactly is he up to, anyway?
Meanwhile, Brian continues to move on from losing Jennifer, in his own unique way. Alice and Adam both wonder if he’s taking things too far, as Brian makes yet another big announcement.
Daily Mail Weekend Magazine Archers Update 12th – 17th March 2023
Has he been here before?
The tricky resident at The Laurels, who goes by the name of Sykesy, seems to know a lot about Brookfield during the war years, when Blossom and Boxer still pulled the threshing machine.
It all seems a bit odd.
Perhaps one of the older Archers will remember him - but will they want to?
While these old Brookfield memories fester away, young vet Paul makes himself centre stage at the farm when he comes to Josh's aid. Paul is also planning a 'bit of a do' for his ill-assorted colleagues.
What could possibly go wrong?
Meanwhile, widower Brian, who was so very much on the back foot over Jenny's funeral arrangements, throws himself into chucking out her stuff.

If Sykesy remembers the War years, at Brookfield or anywhere else, he must be a fair bit over eighty. Blossom and Boxer were pensioned off in 1955 so remembering them wouldn't make him quite so elderly.
