Hello all! Just listening to the dinner party episode. Quite nice to hear Alice and Chris standing shoulder to shoulder.

So, just as we recover from Rob's 'mirthless' laugh, we're now being terrified by Tom's new creepily demonic laugh. Heard it the first time when he announced the engagement. Proper Scary. Is Natasha administering him with some illicit substance? Or is he just in shock?

Fabulous to learn for sure tonight that she was the one who erm ... decided on the immediate merger of their two business empires.

I want to know more about Natasha's housemate! Has Tom ever met him? I remember Tom couldn't go to hers originally, did he ever get there?

I wondered about Natasha's housemate - could she actually be married/never split from her fiance?

The scriptwriters like 3 people in a house, as 3 people in a scene helps it flow better - you get more friction.

Am awaiting the wedding with bated breath... Not heard tonight's so far, but Helen needs to get on with it and do some explaining, it isn't going to get easier!

Although I find it a stretch of the imagination, that by now, after Helen being so flaky, he still hasn't googled her.

If Lee googles Helen Archer he's unlikely to find out about Rob as she wasn't tried in that name. No idea whether any previous murk might have hit the papers?

Glad the dinner party went ok, though hated the patronising talk betwwen Brian and JD before and after.

HelloYouTwo, I think showing Ed and Emma round was just an off-the-cuff tactic on Justin's part to stop Emma banging on about the path being fenced off. It was quite funny when he over-estimated the size of the house, he obviously couldn't assimilate the possibility of someone living in such a small property. And, talking of Justin, does anyone really use the term "the giddy limit" these days?

Why was Lily so overly-prickly with Kenton?

Is it only me that thinks Will and Poppy should move into Grange Farm, giving them the support they need, covering the rent and freeing up No 1 The Green for Tom and Natasha?

I will cheerfully admit that I didn't understand that episode, why was Tom being so so weird, was it supposed to convey his being swept away by emotion.

ItsMe Confusingly Will, Poppy and Mia don't live at No 1 The Green but at Greenwood Cottage which is tied to Will's job.

Tom is already living at No 1 The Green, with Johnny and Hannah as housemates.

But yes, Will, Poppy and Mia moving into Grange Farm would seem like a sensible option. (IIRC the possibility of this may have been mentioned here once or twice on earlier threads. And was it Clarrie who suggested it to Will? He declined.) Now the story has moved on it looks as if Will might evict his current tenants (or at least not renew their tenancy) so his parents and Joe can move to The Green.

(I'm honestly not hovering night and day with a correction pen! I accidentally left the heating on, so ...)
