Well hasn’t it been a fun few years! Thank you all for supporting the threads and sharing in love and critique of The Archers.

Pat, Tony and Helen were all together for dinner with Tom and Natasha.
Johhny was there, too. He was the one who made the "you're as nervous as a groom" comment which prompted Tom to say "how did you know!?" and out came the big announcement, before Natasha had even turned up. Her absence gave the Bridge Farm contingent the chance to voice their reservations.

Has there been any explanation for how they got round the requirement of 28 days' notice for the wedding?

I think the wedding will go ahead, but there's bound to be tensions at some point at home, with Hannah and Natasha living under the same roof. Hannah's not going to be able to hide her feelings for long. But I wonder if she'll try to drive a wedge between the happy couple, or try to get Tom back in her bed.

The stabbing won't show up because she was Helen Titchenor then.

Wedding reception food must surely feature a whole salmon, with cucumber scales.

I think it was horseradish snow that Susan made - hence someone's user name upthread. Dare I confess I googled a recipe, l might even try making it...

I had just come to post surely it's got be a fish dish for the reception!

Maybe Susan has been watching MasterChef, although the recipes are all pretty normal so far, I remember them getting more pretentious as the series went on last time.

Doesn't appear that we'll be meeting her parents. Pat seems a bit down about the marriage though. She was rather taken aback on hearing that Natasha had taken Tom's name, I don't think she likes the idea of Natasha being an Archer.

Tony's warmed up to her though.

I thought she sounded strange too, Constanza... maybe we were just supposed to have been seeing a different side of her.

Name change for a long-time lurker and occasional poster. Thank you to @PseudoBadger and @DavidDavidDavid for the fabulous threads, you really make my day. Me and my girls, here in Sofia Being in [the archers] does truly feel like an evening in the pub, so thank you all for the amazing threads and crazy side discussions.

Well Natasha is even MORE suspicious now her parents car "broke down" and they couldn't be there to give her away, there's a mysterious past there to be unveiled (see what I did there) for sure!

So I thought of a good game we can play, to celebrate 100 threads. How about a round of "Unresolved Storyline"?!?! The rules are very simple - we just jot down some of our favourite/suspected unresolved storylines and see what we think? I wonder if some of my unresolved ones are just because I haven't heard the right episode!

.... Do you remember when Alice "stayed over" at her male colleague's house when she was drinking too much? Do we think she may have done the dirty on Chris?

.....Matt Crawford's Hit and Run... was it really Nic wot done it or was it a mysterious crime boss getting his own back? When will it come to light again?

......Ruari and the Cathedral School Girls.... is the public schoolboy gong to set the local girls on fire or will it all end in tears?

and of course... Will Roy and Lexy get back together again!?!

@LexysMidnightRunners I suspect that one or both of Ruerarriiiiii and Ben will turn out to be overcompensating in the girls dept. and be gay. Perhaps they will get together or even have an episode with the prodigal drug-dealer...

Well, I had my hair done yesterday - all ready for the wedding. I’ve only got the wan hat, the one I wore to Tom’s last attempt at marriage and didn’t want to jinx this wan by wearing the same hat. But I don’t know why I bothered. It was peltin it doon all day and then they wouldn’t let me in tae the meal. I telt them I wiz JazzersMaw and was only wanting tae eat his share cos he couldnae whit wi’ lookin’ efter the pigs an that. But they said it wiz family an friends only. Cravens, i bet they just didnae want anybody face Meadow Rise there. Thon ARchers can be a bit stuck up.

Craven new should read crivens of course! Crivens being an exclamatory expression in some parts of the northern provinces.
