When Lizzie asked if there was anything she could do to persuade Geraldine to stay, I hoped - for a nanosecond - that Geraldine would say "get therapy".

Lexie's going to be massively in demand, what with vacancies at Lower Loxley, Berrow and the Bull. I fear that chicken factory production in Ambridge is going to suffer.

I enjoyed Hannah angling for an invite to Tom's event, then Tom angling for a shag. They deserve each other.

Hannah just gets more and more horrible. But Tom is ghastly too.

I do feel sorry for Roy.

What I find most depressing/infuriating/something like that is that Tom is pushing fucking 40!!!!!!!

I've just realised why Lexi isn't preggers yet. She's going to get upduffed, go back to Romania to see her girls, one of them is going to be really ill or something delaying her return, then she will be stuck there and give birth there, but because of brexit she won't be able to get back to hand over the baby.

I also think Roy is really tactless. He thinks Lexi should be overjoyed to be back and completely disregards the fact that she has just had to say goodbye to her daughters again. He can't understand that to her Romania is home.

Is she from Romania? I thought she was Bulgarian.

It is Bulgaria isn't it.... Mind you I'd forgotten who Lexi was until a week ago.

I said Bulgaria up-thread, but that was from memory, because I thought that's what I heard. Where can we check? Is Lowfield still out of action?

I asked for volunteers once we hit 800 posts. I’m not nominating anyone, I’m confident someone will step up.

We’re making a big deal of it because it’s a matter of principle .

Have been on works night out, drunk lots of wine, in the train on way home, I am volunteering to start thread, but am assuming that people on the Archers thread will have the moral fortitude not to take advantage.

Good point Bertrand . I tend to forget how old the characters are. Years ago I worked out that I was about the same age as Hayley but now she’s gone I don’t have a point of reference.
I think both Helen and Emma are younger.

And David is getting more and more disturbing the last few months

Maybe the thread starter should be the person who has currently got most posts to their name. Unless they've already started a thread, in which case it goes to the next person. That way there'd be no arguments, and there'd be a role for Dad-cubed (and an awful lot of tactical name changing).

I'm far to much of a lurker to start a thread but I like the idea of the person with the most posts doing it
