As Frilly stress Lizzy out, did the SWs forget her heart defect? Will there be long term llama drama karma in The Archers?

Yes, that's good Quater

cheminotte · 21/09/2018 15:49

That’s really good Quater

birdsdestiny · 21/09/2018 16:07

I like that too quater.
Is anyone else worried about where they are heading with Freddie. Isolated, depressed, Alistair unable to reach him. I wondered if they were heading for a suicide attempt and Alistair beating himself up with guilt.

Spreadingcudweed · 21/09/2018 16:10

pleat oh I love flower and produce conversation in rl! Smile

witchmountain · 21/09/2018 16:46

I thought Freddie sounded fed up and resigned rather than suidcidal. As others have pointed out, it’s not like he has to get a job at the end of this, which is what most kids in that situation would be worried about. Well, that and the experience of being in prison, although he seems blissfully ignorant of what that might be like at the moment which is possibly for the best.

TigerDrankAllTheWaterInTheTap · 21/09/2018 19:27

I'm not terribly sorry for Freddie, given he's brought this on himself, but I did feel a tiny bit for him gazing down from Lakey Hill for possibly the last time for a few weeks.

Hannah and Tom - will they, won't they? It won't end well either way, of that we can be sure. The course of true love never did run smooth in Ambridge. Grin

Ghostontoast · 21/09/2018 19:27

Pardon me kumquats- was that Tom and Hannah going to play hide the sausage? Wink

TigerDrankAllTheWaterInTheTap · 21/09/2018 19:30

Hannah was suggesting it, but unless I nodded for a moment and missed it, I don't think we know if Tom agreed.

Exexexcel · 21/09/2018 20:15

Hannah coming on to Tom... Sounded very unnatural Grim Confused

R4 · 21/09/2018 20:34

Having casual sex with your house-share is not a good idea. Especially in a household of three. Hopefully it will all become so awkward that Hannah will have to leave.

Fink · 21/09/2018 21:32

I actually felt sorry for Tom. It was such an overt come-on that there was no good way for it to end. If he turned her down it would be awkward. If he accepted it would be worse.

LassWiADelicateAir · 21/09/2018 22:26

I really don't like Hannah.

LassWiADelicateAir · 21/09/2018 22:37

BOOP Alastair, Freddy and even Shula.

Gersemi · 22/09/2018 00:10

I don't understand why Alastair and Shula are so hell-bent on a divorce based on unreasonable behaviour. Surely the simplest thing would be to base it on Alastair's adultery.

Gersemi · 22/09/2018 00:16

These last few days I get the feeling that they're trying to show Freddie at last growing up. There's been much less of the sulky boy, and we've heard him accepting that his problems are down to no-one but him. I'm wondering whether he's going to say something of the sort in court and persuade the judge to go for a non-custodial sentence because he's properly repentant and learnt the errors of his ways.

EBearhug · 22/09/2018 00:39

Something has to come out about Ellis. We've had enough hints about his part in it all over the last few episodes.

LassWiADelicateAir · 22/09/2018 01:18

Why don't Alastair and Shula go for divorce with consent after 2 year's separation?

DadDadDad · 22/09/2018 08:16

I hope Pseudo is going to return soon as we'll be wanting a new thread in the next day or so.

Maybe if we all old hands and say her name three times...

Or I could just try one of these --> @PseudoBadger.

ApplesinmyPocket · 22/09/2018 08:24

I love the Flower and Produce show chat! I live within 5 miles of two very active Flower Shows which are quite the local thing to take part in...two weeks ago I was baking up a storm, even overnight Grin Whole families take part in various categories.

I did wonder if Kumquat, Orange and Spices would be worth looking up a recipe for - would it stun our local judges in a good, or bad, way, one wonders....

QuaterMiss · 22/09/2018 08:40

One of the best jars of marmalade I’ve ever tasted came from a delightful, rustic bakery discovered in the wilds of erm ... Mayfair. It was either quince or kumquat - I just can’t remember which.

PseudoBadger · 22/09/2018 09:29

Hi I’m here! However I am again conscious that I really add little to the threads these days, so perhaps others should feel free to start new ones?

witchmountain · 22/09/2018 09:44

I nominate DDD. Although I like seeing your name pop up Pseudo

birdsdestiny · 22/09/2018 10:33

I like quaters suggestion.

DadDadDad · 22/09/2018 10:43

OK, I'll accept the nomination - I wouldn't normally put myself forward, but from past experience no-one is rushing for the "honour".

A couple of conditions:

I get to nominate someone to start the thread after that (and we can carry on that way).
It's down to everyone else to think up thread titles in future.

PseudoBadger · 22/09/2018 11:30

Thank you all for the good times. Dd will be 5 in a few days and she was in my tummy when I started these threads Flowers
