Sorry about the title, nothing particularly inspiring in the storylines currently Sad

No spoilers please, there’s a thread for that.

R4 · 24/07/2018 11:28

Ooooh no. Don't listen while flying. Shock

FiveShelties · 24/07/2018 11:30

OK - I will save them for when I arrive back in UK next month. Thank you

KitchenFloor · 24/07/2018 11:36

which of you just swiped the eBay complete series listing of Cabin Pressure?!

FiveShelties · 24/07/2018 11:49

It honestly was not me Grin

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 24/07/2018 11:56

I think flying might be the perfect time, especially if you happen to travel with a lemon. Grin

Brian's of Britain 🇬🇧

R4 · 24/07/2018 12:40

How bad is it that we have spent the morning talking about a character/actor who hasn't even appeared yet, instead of talking about Pip & Pup?
Are you taking note, SWs? (That isn't a request for more Famous Names in Cameo Appearances btw. Far from it. We want regulars that we give two hoots for.)

MikeUniformMike · 24/07/2018 12:55

We want regulars that we give two hoots for.
Yes, and we don't give two hoots for Pip or Tom.
I don't give two hoots for the Fairbrothers, it seems they were parachuted in to piss off Jill.
I hate the celebrity appearances.

R4 · 24/07/2018 13:07

Actually, the FairBrothers have grown on me. They are fully-fleshed-out characters and they do scenes well together. It's a shame that they have been given such improbable storylines.

Bekabeech · 24/07/2018 13:07

I quite liked the Fairbrethren in last nights episode. They seemed much more believable than Pip and Ruth. The Heifer comment was odd.
And was Pip walking about just after having her Caesar? I was seen as a star as I managed to get properly upright the next day, and mine was an elective Caesar not an emergency one. Nevermind the where was Rex waiting all night? This is the UK not America where they always seem to have reams of relatives sitting in waiting rooms. (My maternity unit was quite hard to access unless you were the "partner" or "birth partner".)

KitchenFloor · 24/07/2018 13:28

@bekabeech I didn't get the impression she was standing? And Toby sounded genuinely surprised when he saw Rex, presume the poor sod was standing outside the unit doors all night.

SmiledWithTheRisingSun · 24/07/2018 14:07

Just switched on and pip seems to be in labour! Is that a repeat?

SmiledWithTheRisingSun · 24/07/2018 14:09

Ah ok just read up thread Grin

R4 · 24/07/2018 14:21

Right. I was trying to concentrate this time.
Continuity said it's "still Sunday". Ruth was walking back from the fete, so afternoon-ish? There was something about "six hours ago" and Feebs and Lily getting set for bed. The labour was going quickly but then slowed down, ending in a c-section. Toby had to wake Pere FairBro to give him the news.
I estimate that Pip gave birth about early-morning milking time, on Monday.Smile

CraicMammy · 24/07/2018 14:40

I’ve just realised who is in the third holiday cottage at Home Farm (unless I missed something) Lexi!

Abra1de · 24/07/2018 14:42

I was walking the night of my caesarean and we were encouraged to if possible.

cheminotte · 24/07/2018 16:35

Also what the hell is Lily doing telling Phoebe about 'Meredith' ?
Can't believe we don't know the baby's name yet - please let's not have a 'we can't decide' storyline.

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 24/07/2018 16:59

I've got another name suggestion, now we know it's a girl.

Robina. (Genuine name, I used to know one.)

Unusual, family connection, would wind Jill up massively, will constantly be muddled with Ribena. What's not to like! Grin

ADarkandStormyKnight · 24/07/2018 17:14

Pip will choose a Queen of Brookfield type of name.

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 24/07/2018 17:19

Back to Regina, then!

Gruach · 24/07/2018 17:26

What is the equivalent of Solomon? (I don’t mean Heather - I mean in hipsterish but joining three families sort of thing. And not Grace - which would just be rude.)

R4 · 24/07/2018 17:39

Back to Regina, then!

ShockThat would start tongues wagging over which FairBro was the daddy!

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 24/07/2018 17:44

Solomonia
Sollie-Mae (OK, I made this one up)
On the basis of a ten second google, Shlomit, Shalom or Salome

The family has form for odd names. Shula and Kenton are far from mainstream.

JessieMcJessie · 24/07/2018 17:53

It will be something from the top 10 girls’ names as Pip has very little imagination. Perhaps Charlotte, shortened to Charlie. Nice if it was Olivia in tribute to our favourite MNHQ Archers fan!
