Anyway, thank goodness that's over. I hope we're not in for a PND story if Pip struggles with not having been able to stick to her birth plan. My sympathy for Pip is extremely limited, and I would find it hard to care. Hard-hearted Hannah here!

I wonder what could possibly be the surprise/shock for Anisha the CA promises us for tomorrow? Since nothing at all obvious has been signalled involving Uncle Rex ....

Also, at the risk of being insensitive (so if it is, I am sincerely sorry) how very odd it must be to have your ex present at the birth, even if he is the father. Even odder to have his brother in the room unpacking Pip's hospital bag while she laboured away.

I'm afraid she survived, Mike. Lost opportunity! She had an emergency CS and a blood transfusion, but has bounced right back and sounded exactly like normal within minutes. Not what I remember from my own emergency CS, but I had a general anaesthetic and to be charitable to the SWs I expect they decided Pip would have an epidural.

How rude of Toby not to ask if Pip minded Rex coming in to see her post-surgery. Imagine that on AIBU!

I actually found Toby talking to Rex tonight rather touching - much prefer him to Pip these days.
