Sorry about the title, nothing particularly inspiring in the storylines currently Sad

No spoilers please, there’s a thread for that.

So is bibesia going to win the guess the birthdate competition...

Nah, I reckon they're going to spin this one out and I'll be pipped (see what I did there?) at the post. Sad

Bibesia · 23/07/2018 09:16

I must say I couldn't see why Pip demanded that Toby get to the farmhouse. Anyone with an ounce of sense would get herself to the hospital and ask him to meet her there.

LetticeFortescue · 23/07/2018 09:34

I agree with Frink
Pip is perfect and therefore will have calved, on her own and with absolutely no difficulty, by 7pm tonight.
Toby and Ruth will burst in on the beatific scene together - Pip in a stable and a shaft of sunlight appearing to give Pipette a golden halo. They will have admiring and awe struck visitors from miles around because this is Pipette, the son of Pip.

Pippin for a boy? Apols if anyone suggested this before.

Minimammoth · 23/07/2018 11:43

Those Buttons are coming to prominence, we now have Billy Button.

LetticeFortescue · 23/07/2018 12:07

I noticed that Mini - do we now have Tilly, Molly and Billy?

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 23/07/2018 12:33

I thought I heard Billy and assumed I'd misheard it! Surely some mistake? We've heard a lot about Tilly and Molly over the years. Don't recall ever hearing about Billy before. Billy Button is a fine name, though ...

Reminds me of the family near us at one time with four girls. Can't remember all the names but it was something like Jodie, Chloe, Zoe and Cody. Hmm

Minimammoth · 23/07/2018 12:42

‘Course, it could be boy or girl, so deliciously near belly button thoughGrin

GoatYoga · 23/07/2018 12:42

I think Pip will give birth alone - she is Wonder Woman after all.

Going back to the holiday cottages - I seem to remember Kate making a big fuss about doing the cottage up for her and Feebs to live in. Why is she still living at home? Did I miss something?

Scoopofchaff · 23/07/2018 12:56

Yes she will probably toddle off to one of the sheep pens and have it there ... .

LetticeFortescue · 23/07/2018 13:23

There's a hierarchy of silent characters, some are so silent they're never referred to, until such time as the SWs decide to release them from their own cereal cupboards and achieve Knoen But Silent status.

LetticeFortescue · 23/07/2018 13:24

Known not knoen.
I dream of an episode populated only by the silent characters,

5000FingersofDrT · 23/07/2018 13:49

They could call the Piplet Jilly if it's a girl, to join Tilly, Molly and Billy, simultaneously paying homage to the baked-goods matriarch of Ambridge.

Or go the fashionable double-barrelled route and opt for Jilli-Grace. Scrupulously fair, both great-grandmothers represented, same number of letters in each name, a hint of modish hipsterism with that roguish 'i'....Wink

JessieMcJessie · 23/07/2018 14:09

Grace isn’t a great-grandmother though (unless you mean a sort of step one by virtue of having been Great-grandad’s wife?). I don’t k ow what relation she is to Robin actually-Half aunt or something?

Mootsie · 23/07/2018 14:22

Brookfield farmhouse sounded really echoey when Pip was calling out. I suppose in her panic she didn't notice they'd been burgled while everyone was out and they'd stolen all the furniture and carpets.

5000FingersofDrT · 23/07/2018 14:25

I freely admit to having become hopelessly confused by the various twigs of the family tree, Jessie Grin

I suppose what I meant was that both Jill and her dreaded rival Grace could be name-checked, thus ensuring Archer-Fairbrother parity.

But I expect it'll be a boy anyway. Or twins.

MikeUniformMike · 23/07/2018 14:30

No it's a girl. Grace.
Still crossing my fingers for death in childbirth.

Kate lets the cottage to get an income. She did it up for her and Feebs but moved back home after deciding to yurt.

Eastie77 · 23/07/2018 14:46

If Rex ends up helping Pip won't that be a rehash of the Ed/Emma/Will storyline when Ed helped Emma as she gave birth to George. Yawn.

KitchenFloor · 23/07/2018 14:47

@mootsie perhaps she was in the cereal cupboard

MikeUniformMike · 23/07/2018 14:58

Would it be echo-y in there with Ben?
What happened to the original Monty? Monty the Muntac.

KitchenFloor · 23/07/2018 15:39

Ben's driving tractors, isn't he?

LassWiADelicateAir · 23/07/2018 17:30

Yes I noticed that too..

MikeUniformMike · 23/07/2018 17:32

You're just being silly. She was in a new room that hasn't been furnished yet.

Toofle · 23/07/2018 18:16

LassWiADelicateAir, glad you liked that.

cheminotte · 23/07/2018 18:44

Going back a few days, did I hear that Freddie is heading to Thailand on his travels? He'd better not try dealing there or it could be a long time before we hear him again!
