Thank you R4 for the title.

OP posts:
Imbroglio · 30/03/2017 22:14

Maybe marshmallow gin will turn out to be the miracle cure for IBR.

redshoeblueshoe · 30/03/2017 23:38

Imbrogio what if its a truth drug ?

EBearhug · 31/03/2017 01:29

WHY IS Toby so invested in Pip not telling?

That's exactly what I was going to ask, having just listened on catch-up. Exact same words and everything. Grin

Imbroglio · 31/03/2017 02:37

In vino veritas. ....

Unless of course you are asked how many you've had.

Imbroglio · 31/03/2017 02:41

I think Pip should consider Toby's moral choices about the wisdom of withholding the truth in relation to Brighton.

Gallavich · 31/03/2017 06:58

Maybe Toby just doesn't want to deal with the inevitable fallout of a drama if she tells, he's pretty lazy and suppprting Pip would be hard work?

TheAntiBoop · 31/03/2017 07:47

Brighton hasn't come up again has it?

DadDadDad · 31/03/2017 07:47

Just caught "Robert Snell" being interviewed on Today.

Imbroglio · 31/03/2017 08:09

Aagh! There's a photo of him on R4's Twitter. Where's the brain eraser?

choccyp1g · 31/03/2017 08:10

I hope being retired from his day job means we will hear more of Robert, he is my favourite character.

Megatherium · 31/03/2017 09:56

And kids parties at soft play places aren't cheap.

But there's a compromise to be had between that and two friends round the kitchen table.

LillianGish · 31/03/2017 09:57

I loved the fact that he wasn't cast as the doctor because he didn't sound like a doctor - even though he is one!

TheAntiBoop · 31/03/2017 14:11

Emma can do party food and Eddie and joe can get the kids playing games in the garden surely? With a gnome to take home in the party bag

Gherkinsmummy · 31/03/2017 14:12

Maybe Toby knows he caused the IBR. Maybe he took an infected calf and ran round the farms with it as part of some biodynamic farming ritual that Caroltold him about.

MrsArthurShappey · 31/03/2017 16:01

I think gallavich has it. He's said 'don't rock the boat' several times - he doesn't want his gravy train derailed (mixing two vehicular metaphors).

MrsArthurShappey · 31/03/2017 16:03

If no-one else, surely Ed will be the one to blow the whistle, unless Pip or Toby convince him that he'll get the blame because he put the cows in Adam's field. He's thick enough to fall for that (i feel mean saying that, but it's true isn't it?)

TheAntiBoop · 31/03/2017 16:27

Ed will tell someone. He's too honest not to. And he will probably make out it was his fault

DadDadDad · 31/03/2017 16:38

Just turned on Feedback. Isn't Huge Canoe due to be on?

Minimammoth · 31/03/2017 17:11

Nooo. I just can't bear the thought of someone covering up for Toby again, it's torture.

ErrolTheDragon · 31/03/2017 17:22

Surely no-one could possibly blame Ed? He couldn't have got them safely back to Brookfield single- handed - I would think that if Adam had found those cows in the road he'd have temporarily put them in with his own too.

Gruach · 31/03/2017 19:16

That was fun!

Shallishanti · 31/03/2017 19:17

wow, shit hitting the fan now....

Shallishanti · 31/03/2017 19:18

maybe Eddie will blackmail Pip

GrumpyOldBag · 31/03/2017 19:20

I really, really want Pip to be found out in her horrible "economy with the truth", and then something really bad to happen to her.

AuldHeathen · 31/03/2017 19:26

That was a very satisfying visit to Ambridge, especially the barney.
