Happy New Year to you all.

OP posts:
EBearhug · 13/01/2017 19:17

Well, I wasn't expecting that, but I'm glad we're getting some loose ends tidied up.

birdsdestiny · 13/01/2017 19:17

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 13/01/2017 19:18

Yes indeed. For those who didn't hear the CA, he said 'Was that man stroking a white cat?'

Well we know what stefan saw. As do Jenny and David.

Just need someone who can do something about it to hear!

Stickerrocks · 13/01/2017 19:19

How far had Jennifer got in her flood investigation? I remember Ed had concerns but decided to drop them when he was desperate to keep his job with Charlie. Maybe Charlie will pop back too.

Abraiid2 · 13/01/2017 19:20

I must admit to being pleased for Lillian too. I know i shouldn't. But I was pleased to see her put on her war paint and brave it out. Hope Justin does the right thing and ends it with M though, instead of continuing to cheat on her.

Putthetulipsthere · 13/01/2017 19:20

BOOP for that episode! Some of the SW must read this thread. Now all we need is for Stefan to bump into Jenny and nudge her memory....

TheAntiBoop · 13/01/2017 19:21

So can we have a little summary for those who only heard snippets due to unruly children!

Does stefan have more dirt?

Shallishanti · 13/01/2017 19:33

and can someone remind me what Stefan knows????

Vango · 13/01/2017 19:36

Stefan saw Rob block the culvert, leading to the flood and death of Freda.

Northernlurker · 13/01/2017 19:38

Said flood also nearly killed Charlie and Adam.

TheAntiBoop · 13/01/2017 19:39

It didn't cause the flood - but it probably blocked one of the roads that could have enabled access for the emergency services etc

He partly did it because he couldn't be arsed with properly dealing with the whatsit he managed as it would have been badly flooded of the culvert hadn't been blocked

and charlie nearly drowned unblocking it

R4 · 13/01/2017 19:40

DH came into the room while TA was on and got his usual Shhhhhhh!!. Then a client phoned just after Stefan popped up. Arggh. Thank goodness they are so switched on with Listen Again these days.
Happy Friday the Thirteenth, Rob.Grin

Megatherium · 13/01/2017 19:44

Yayyyy!!! Knob isn't going to be able to pay off Stefan, is he? He's no longer got the Bank of Piggoi to call on, he's probably paying massive rent on the Desirable Executive Home with redundant bedrooms for MySons, with luck his solicitors are charging him megabucks, and equally with luck Helen is demanding maintenance for Jack.

BoreOfWhabylon · 13/01/2017 19:53

And Justin's about to sack him for not doing his job too.

DoctorTwo · 13/01/2017 19:54

I fear Stefans days are numbered. Unless he tells Rob he has evidence, and provides proof of said evidence.

Megatherium · 13/01/2017 19:57

If Stefan has any sense (or has watched the right TV programmes) he's put the evidence in the care of a solicitor or bank to be opened in the event of his death, and will make sure that Rob knows that.

Getabloominmoveon · 13/01/2017 19:57

OO-er. That was unexpected. Can someone please remind me about Stefan's character - is he a likely tough blackmailer? Obv. he was open to inducements so he's not the Pope, but i have no recollection of what sort of person he was.

Will this be the final straw for Rob? Does he own a gun?

enochroot · 13/01/2017 19:58

Listened late and almost fell off my chair!

That's what I call a Friday night cliffhanger. It's going to send him over the edge, isn't it?
And Justin's starting to suspect he's lazy.
No, Rob's not a man who copes at all well with pressure.

VictoriaMcdade · 13/01/2017 19:58

Yes, but he's going to get a piece of Bridge Farm because he deserves it. Hmm.

Do you think that the return of Stefan is yet another one of the things that the SW had been itching to do but SOC blocked?

Or is it that they just had so much cash freed up after SOC was no longer gracing them with his presence that they can finally afford more actors (see the return of Lily)?

VictoriaMcdade · 13/01/2017 20:01

When Stefan was talking to JennyDarling and Daveed he was pretty meek and mild, and very into doing the right thing in spite of being scared. He was nothing like the Dr Evil we heard tonight.

BiscuitMillionaire · 13/01/2017 20:01

I think Rob is heading for a breakdown or violent outburst - stress from not seeing Jack, outcast from village and now Stefan blackmailing him. I just hope it's not family annihilation.

TheAntiBoop · 13/01/2017 20:02

So caught up - stefan would make a good gangster!! He has a good turn of phrase. Does anyone who knows know if his accent is authentic?

And what's all this about being unemployed and a sofa surfer?

Not sure about Lillian and Justin - it's all a bit icky when his wife is in the next room.
