Happy New Year to you all.

I have very fond memories of listening to The Archers with my Mum when I was growing up. I had not listened for about 15 years, but the Helen and Rob story line has brought me back in to the fold.

Could any long term listeners explain something for me please? I remember when Daniel Hebden- Lloyd was very young he was diagnosed with juvenile arthritis, so how has he managed to pass the medical to join the army?

Thank you very much

Theres a new thread, link is a few posts up by PseudoBadger. Come on over!Smile

Re Daniel - um, he got better. Ambridge is known for having a Health Fairy who makes most afflictions which should be serious or chronic heal with remarkable rapidity. Maybe its all the fresh country air.Grin

I think he told the Army about his juvenile arthritis, obviously the health fairy did a good job, and the army were ok about it

Yep. He had to have an extra medical, I think, to check that it was no longer an issue.
