So why has he got a still? Does he actually need it?

I'm surprised he knows how to work it

Ruth is so irritating. If I were Jill I would pack my bag and move in with carol for Xmas.

She should get the judging gig when GBBO goes to channel 4

Poor old Ben would end up doing all the work

LowDudgeon · 06/12/2016 20:36

Do we think Nancy knows what dingleberries are, or not? Grin

(the Guardian sub def knows nothing about names of cottages & who lives where)

redshoeblueshoe · 06/12/2016 20:48

Tobee wants to make his own gin because if he just flavours gin he will have a big layout for not much return.
Ruth was a real pain in the arse tonight.

What an obnoxious pollock Tobe is.

Definitely something fishy about him. Grin

TheAntiBoop · 06/12/2016 21:02

Poor kid must have scurvy by now. And rickets

LassWiTheDelicateAir · 06/12/2016 22:01

I don't think I can stand any more of Roof, Tube and Pipsqueak.

Gherkinsmummy · 06/12/2016 22:17

I feel for Ruth. Having to listen to David bellowing and Jill coping like a bilious pigeon must be driving her mad

Gherkinsmummy · 06/12/2016 22:17

Cooing!

I quite like Toby. He sort of reminds me of the men I used to date when I was Pip's age and knew no better.

TheAntiBoop · 06/12/2016 22:56

He's going to be the new Jill

Ruth and her voice were infuriating today!!!

Imbroglio · 06/12/2016 22:59

David should chuck Pip AND Toby out of Rickyard. I bet she doesn't have a lease. Wasn't it a holiday let once?

I remember Sara Coward appearing in Morse. She was on reception at the Randolph Hotel. Moonlighting obv as she should have been at Grey Gables Grin

Think I did a double take (or double listen) at the familiar voice.

Tuktuktaker · 07/12/2016 11:04

I am a huge admirer of NBS and I found this most recent article slightly off-kilter for her. The misnaming of Blossom Hill Cottage and the implication that was where Tobeeeee distills could have been over-eager editing, but the rest didn't sound quite right to me, either.

mummytime · 07/12/2016 11:26

I thought Ruth had a point, although she is obviously fooling herself in thinking that Toby is going to go home for Christmas. I think it might not be a happy Christmas at Brookfield (even if Toby goes home he's bound to be kicked out and turn up like a bad penny).
I did find Kenton and Elizabeth "odd" why did neither of them mention that Shula had had an affair with Dr Locke - that would definitely have come up in my family/friends/acquaintances?

TheMortificadosDragon · 07/12/2016 11:38

Did people other than Usha know that there was an actual affair rather than just some sort of flirty friendship? I found it odd when Shula started inviting Richard round for sunday lunch etc, with no apparent awkwardness between richard and alistair.

mummytime · 07/12/2016 13:25

I thought everyone knew? (Admittedly just from what I've read on here - as it must have been during my absent phase - before I could get email updates and was out of the country etc.)

TheAntiBoop · 07/12/2016 13:34

Everyone knew about the affair I thought. Even Alastair!

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 07/12/2016 15:19

Yup. Susan broadcast it at the Cricket Club AGM, didn't she? Shock
