Sorry for the poor title - the end of the last thread has arrived sooner than I thought and I haven't had the benefit of hearing all of the last 2 nights....

I thought the old thread had gone oddly quiet. Time for a catch-up.

TopazRocks · 04/10/2016 19:39

Yes, PB, and Rob is deluded enough to expect the baby that's been in his company maybe 3 times in his short life to miss him. Yet he mis-names him. grr!

Btw, would the divorce settlement not have to take into account that the children need a home? So Rob couldn't get a share as the boys are with their mother the majority of the time. And BF is the main home.

Who else expects within weeks Kirsty will have moved into No 1 The Green? Run, Kirsty, run.

GypsyFl0ss · 04/10/2016 19:43

Run, Kirsty, run ...into Tom's arms to make me very happy Grin

ColdTeaAgain · 04/10/2016 19:55

Bit annoyed pat only corrected Ursula the once on Jacks name, it sort of gave her the last say on it. I hope no one lets that slip again.

LadyConstanceDeCoverlet · 04/10/2016 20:14

When Ursula tried the tack of reminding Helen why Knob had to have the operation, I did want a rejoinder along the lines of "Yes, that was when I stabbed him to prevent him attacking my 5 year old son, Ursula. And after he had raped me several times. Talking of which, we must have a chat sometime about Bruce's behaviour towards you."

redshoeblueshoe · 04/10/2016 20:41

Thanks for the new thread Psuedo Archers
Blimey these threads are moving fast.
Pip was out of order, D & R were too.

TheAntiBoop · 04/10/2016 20:44

Lowfield is back!!

DoctorTwo · 04/10/2016 21:06

Many BOOPS for Helen. And a mini BOOP for Tom, mainly for Will getting No1, The Green off his hands before Titchycock is evicted from Bloody Hell Cottage.

Gruach · 04/10/2016 21:11

84 posts? Eighty four!

It's a lovely title Pseudo - thank you.

Listened but nothing really to say. Bit tired of the comedy cruelty emanating from Blossom Hill Cottage.

But interesting to see the pieces being moved around the board once again. How strange that somewhere to live has been of pressing concern to the Grundy for months - but finding a new place is the merest whom for Tom. Wonder if Johnny will cramp his style.

Gruach · 04/10/2016 21:12

Whim. Whim is what I meant. Hmm

TheAntiBoop · 04/10/2016 21:14

Has Tom asked will?

Maybe when he calls he will find out there is already a tenant.....

ninja · 04/10/2016 21:19

Did no one else think that maybe Jill had had her heart broken by a Fairbrother? It was just something she said that made me think that.

Mind you I'm a very occasional listener and maybe I got it completely wrong

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 04/10/2016 21:28

Indirectly, ninja. Jill's husband (deceased) married her not that long after his first wife died. She was the aunt of Toby and Rex. Jill has been in Grace's shadow ever since. Also, the father of Toby and Rex briefly had an affair with Jill's daughter Elizabeth without bothering to mention that he was married. That didn't end well. So Jill has no reason to feel any goodwill towards the Farebrother family.

Imbroglio · 04/10/2016 21:42

Helen is so lucky to have such a strong family.

Imagine dealing with Ursulob on your own.

LassWiTheDelicateAir · 04/10/2016 21:44

Just catching up on last night. Is it possible for Roooth to be any more stupid or Pip more stupid and selfish?

AnnieNoMouse · 04/10/2016 21:57

I love Jonny - my favourite character Grin

Anyone here also watching Cold Feet? Art Malik seems to be playing a Rob Tichener character although I don't think Karen is going to be ensnared. As a TA listener I know to recognise the red flags Wink

LassWiTheDelicateAir · 04/10/2016 21:59

Johnny is lovely isn't he?

Boop for Helen tonight.

WipsGlitter · 04/10/2016 22:07

Need to catch up on tonight. Just marking !

drspouse · 04/10/2016 22:08

I have been finding it difficult to distinguish Johnny, Harrison and Alan, they all seem to be Generic Northern.

OhTheRoses · 04/10/2016 22:15

Thank you Pseudo.

Recollecting talk of death. Could it be Jill? This business setting the scene for a revisit of Ambridge history to build a foundation on which to build the next generation. What with Shula and David being nearly middle aged now. And Jenny and Tony and co. being as elderly as Phil and Jill were to me in the 80s/90s.

More to it than meets the eye I think. Helen/Rob in the longer term is as much a blip as Cameron Fraser, Susan's sojourn, and Hazel Woolley. This is what the Archers is actually about.

On that note these four pages have led to me burning the pasta. That could equate to a third of an Archer's episode. (Hungry teenager, anxious call with mate at uni, DH late, burning smell, time for a meaningful chat while next pit boils) Grin

I'm worried that Rob has run up debts either personally or via the business- which will affect Helen and BFs finances.

Mootsie · 04/10/2016 22:37

How on earth do Rob and Ursula seriously think they can get Henry back?
