Thanks Gaspode But I'm glad i heard it today!

redshoeblueshoe · 11/09/2016 21:43

BOOP - she was found guilty and sentenced to 7 years Grin

glowfrog · 11/09/2016 21:44

Must admit, can't wait to find out how the rest of the village responds to it all, especially Justin and Lillian given the job offer.

OhTheRoses · 11/09/2016 21:44

Henwee will be abroad by "Sunday"
There will be a warrant for Rob's arrest for cc and rape
Charlotte is under his spell. She will be the next victim and will die having dearly loved and protected Henwee.
Gideon will replace John; Henwee will end up in in a MH facility for psychosis having slipped through the fingers of the early psychosis unit.

JudyCoolibar · 11/09/2016 21:48

Let me check that I've got this right...
The only evidence that we heard from Henry was 3 days after the stabbing. So why on earth did he have to be separated from Helen for the duration?

Because he could be questioned on that evidence. For all we know, he was, they left so much out.

TrickyD · 11/09/2016 21:50

It's a good night for Not Guilty verdicts. Ross Poldark has just got off too.

Fink · 11/09/2016 21:53

BOOP for the full Barwick Green.

But I really hope one of those indistinguishable jurors (the one who turned out to be a dv victim?) gets done for racial harrassment.

ErrolTheDragon · 11/09/2016 21:56

Wishful thinking that when Helen said its all over, thats because she finally finished the job ...

Hum, well I hope justice for abused women doesn't depend quite so entirely on having a retired feminist academic on the jury.

theredjellybean · 11/09/2016 21:56

I wondered if the story line might be Helen ends up going back to rob...it's what happens over and over again in real life abuse cases. Hope not my nerves are shattered but would be very realistic.

confusedandemployed · 11/09/2016 22:05

I usually only lurkon TA threads, being an omnibus listener but I broke a 15 year habit this week and listened live so I could tune in tonight.

I feel more than a bit short changed.

Aso PP have said, thereally are so many things unresolved, chiefly among the the Stefan / culvert-blocking thing which we will probably never see resolved now, despite it being a really important event in the village, AND David having voiced some suspicions.

I bloody loathe people talking over each other. What a waste of airtime: unintelligible babble and a discussion about a loo break. If that was all they could come up with they should have stuck to 12.5 minutes.

Odd that Helen didn't seem arsed about where her firstborn was.

Crap stereotype jurors. I mean, really?? Utter bollocks.

Eileen Atkins was great, but then she was the only one the SWs had bothered to lift a finger for. Catherine Tate's quasi-Lauren was bordering on offensive, and to say it was patronising is putting it too mildly.

Here's hoping PC Burns gets on and does a bit of digging into the rape allegations now.

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 11/09/2016 22:10

I think Helen didn't ask about Henry because she knows he's at BHC and she can't see him till Sunday. That doesn't change as a result of this trial.

ErrolTheDragon · 11/09/2016 22:12

Maybe thinking about Henry at BHC would be one more thing than she could bear.

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 11/09/2016 22:13

Yes. Sad

Cromwell1536 · 11/09/2016 22:13

Well...wasn't Helen's capacity to influence a key prosecution witness the whole reason why she was being kept on remand and away from Henry? Now the trial is over, she could run to BHC and see Henry at the very least? Me, I'd be picking him up and taking him home.

ErrolTheDragon · 11/09/2016 22:16

I don't understand why the same didn't apply to Rob though re influencing a witness

glowfrog · 11/09/2016 22:18

And Shula - I wonder if she will ever own up about the hunt sab thing.

She is annoying but I'm actually starting to feel sorry for her.

RandomDent · 11/09/2016 22:19

Rob is only a witness in all this. Same rules don't apply.

glowfrog · 11/09/2016 22:19

Errol because Rob was the victim and a witness, not the defendant.

quince2figs · 11/09/2016 22:20

Verdict on BBC news now!

quince2figs · 11/09/2016 22:23

SOC was interviewed - doesn't look like I imagined him. NO discussion of a million loose ends of lost storylines...

Helenluvsrob · 11/09/2016 22:24

Fabulous typo in the caption to this photo. See Nigel is real!

I'm a celebrity -get me in The Archers! The jury's out in Ambridge.
Fink · 11/09/2016 22:25

Jurors are chosen from the electoral register, aren't they? No wonder the country's in such a dire state if those are our voters!

ErrolTheDragon · 11/09/2016 22:25

Im hoping Shula meets Rob and/or Bruce in some very public place and comes out with it. She certainly seems to be heading towards some sort of crisis.

Dailymailisacrapnewspaper · 11/09/2016 22:27

What - Ian is Henry's father? I thought it was a sperm donor?

It was a donor from the netherlands.

Living in the real world I have my suspicions as at the time there was worldwide sperm shortage and Helen would not have been able to access any so quickly.

Catzpyjamas · 11/09/2016 22:31

I have followed the story and lurked on these threads throughout, caught up on every episode after our holiday and was really looking forward to the enjoying the hour long episode on listen again tomorrow as was busy this evening. I avoided the thread so as not to spoil it.

I just heard the verdict on the 10 o'clock news. I am SO angry at the BBC right now. They could have at least given the same warning as when they give the football results before MOTD.

Aaarrgh Angry
