Marking place

It's not just them WannaBe - what about Tom buggering off there at the drop of a hat? Since SOC's arrival, the SLs have had so many plot holes, they make a block of Emmenthal look solid.

I'm trying to rise above them and not let them ruin my enjoyment too much.

Can someone please remind me if we have a leaving date for SOC? And is there any news of his successor?

Place marking and hoping tonight's episode leaves us as satisfied as last nights.

Please let Sunday be his last episode! I listened again to last night's episode when I was walking the dog. Blubbed again - thank god for sunnies!

Reposting as previous post was last on old thread. PPs have stated Helen's guilt is not in question as she did stab Rob. However, I had a colleague who was on the jury of a woman accused of murdering her partner. That she did murder him was not in question, she had. However she was found not guilty as her defence was that she could not run away from her violent partner as her children were in the house and she could not leave them. The jury accepted this.
And Helen would surely not be allowed to plead not guilty if it were legally impossible for her to be found not guilty.
And why hasn't Helen's packed bag been mentioned? It is well known that woman are most at danger when trying to leave/ having left an abuser. A packed bag and then an episode of violence is consistent with her account, not his.

I think Helen is doing brilliantly under absolutely harrowing circumstances

I agree with Tom that in real life a jury could not fail to believe Helen, but unfortunately this is a SOC concocted jury.

Does anyone know how long it's going to go on for? It must be another week, surely.

That was so harsh. Felt quite listening to Helen being bullied like that :(

So, can we start to hope that whatever the verdict knob won't be,allowed custody of Henry and Jack. Wonder what Bruce and Arse are thinking?

enochroot · 07/09/2016 19:17

I hope Jess gets a chance to say that Rob tried intimidating her a few days ago.

Stickerrocks · 07/09/2016 19:18

We have an hour long episode on Sunday evening, which I assume will include the verdict. From what has been said (no spoilers), hopefully we will now have Jess, followed by a re-examination of Rob, then Neil and Ian as character witnesses. I wouldn't put it past Shula to try to get in on the act as well.
