Marking place! (On a train and no time to read now.)

I was planning to go to the theatre tonight ... Hmm ...

Just happened upon this as I took a breather from AIBU. Mind if I join? Doing the kids tea early doors, got the wine in the fridge, DH out. Kids in bed by 6.45pm, I reckon, ready for tonight's revelation.

Welcome, Quizteam, I admire your dedication.

Quizteam: "OK, kids, time for bed, it's nearly seven..."
"But, mum, I don't normally go to bed this early. I'm fifteen years old! ... And why is dad waving from the garden shed and making unlocking gestures?"

Do you think that now everyone knows that Rob's a nasty cad, that David and Jennifer might have their memory jogged re Stefan and the culvert?

Report
RockNRollNerd · 07/09/2016 16:39

A fiver says Jess' mistake at work that necessitated a fresh start was some minor fuck up but Rob gaslit (gaslighted? gaslatum? Grin) her into thinking it was massive and they HAD to get away... We'll never know though because Canada is just more detritus blocking the culvert of forgotten storylines.

Thanks for another fab thread title Pseudo.

I missed stab week and never caught up on the threads, we were on a cruise and I downloaded all the podcasts at Kennedy Space Centre (free WiFi) the day we docked and were heading to the airport to fly home. I listened to them all back to back overnight on the plane and was beyond irritated that I had no-one to discuss them with (DH asleep and I didn't think he and half the plane would want waking up so I could rant about it)!

Rumbled DDD! They're really 5 & 6 but they have been brainwashed to kindly leave Mummy TF alone when they hear the "Dum de dum dee dumdee dum..." music.

I'm reading old threads, too - excellent titles psuedo and am beginning to regret not finding you all sooner. One quick q: does 'SOC' refer to Sean O'Connor? SW to Social Workers?? Oops, two questions. As you were.

SW - - script writers.

Hope its ok to join in conversations as have been lurking for months but have just got a seat in the public gallery.

Can't help wondering where Henry is this week. Surely term has started and his gps and arsula haven't been available. Did Charlotte get the job and if so what will be her response to media reporting Helen's testimony last night?

When Anna said yesterday "she's now here and with him" or similar, I felt that Jess had cadged a lift with Miles from Hampshire. Perhaps she drove as he was badly injured (blinded?!) in a terrible Knob 'accident' when younger. I also think Ethan is Miles' and they were at Uni together.

What do I know.

I don't understand how the prosecution could allege that Kirsty was involved in a plot with Helen without also therefore charging her as an accessory or whatever the term might be?

Poor Helen though - the line about being raped time and again was chilling - great stuff Louiza.

ibrowze · 07/09/2016 17:16

Yup hope Louiza Patikas and Tim Watson scoop top radio drama awards this year. Even DH has stopped pretending not to listen Smile

JudyCoolibar · 07/09/2016 17:22

Jess and Helen can't be the only women Rob has raped. It would be brilliant if a queue of eager witnesses turned up, maybe with Charlotte bringing up the rear.

Bolstered by the positive reaction to Helen yesterday I listened (LA) for the first time in ages. Was v strange after all this time.

Am thinking of listening live tonight.

Place marking.

The reasoning about rob/Jess running off to Canada is ridiculous though. Canada is notoriously difficult to emigrate to, even if you are on the preferred skills list it takes years.
