I do hope Lynda has a carbon monoxide monitor in there...

Wot Annie said. There is absolutely no way on God's sweet earth that my mother would take my child (if I had one) anywhere near someone she knew had been abusive to me. FFS this is just utter monkeypants of the first order.

Cracking thread title, though, Pseudo. Love it.

Bea · 19/04/2016 19:18

"through!!!!" Gah! I blame the anger!!!!!!

Boomingmarvellous · 19/04/2016 19:19

Stfu Pat!

Next time ask the hellins barrister if it's wise to allow a potential abuser to see and influence a material witness.

If Pat thinks Hellin is such an angel and can't possible have been to blame for the stabbing because she was driven to it why the hell is she being so apologetic to that shit knob? One of them was at fault and if it wasn't Hellin it must have Ben him! Isn't she even able to string a logical though now?

GeekLove · 19/04/2016 19:20

Damn! I thought it was the return of old Pat!

R4 · 19/04/2016 19:25

Bea "Gah! I blame the anger!!!!!!"

I blame the Troughton.Grin

Lilymaid · 19/04/2016 19:26

When will Jess turn up again - if it is all in the news she will surely turn up and spill the beans about St Rob?

AugustaFinkNottle · 19/04/2016 19:28

I'm guessing Pat and Tony can't say no given that he's got PR and there's no injunction or other court order preventing him seeing Henry?

AugustaFinkNottle · 19/04/2016 19:30

What was that about Pat saying that Helen couldn't have done a dreadful thing like that to Rob? Surely she's not convincing herself that someone else did it?

I actually didn't hate Ursula for once. I think if someone had stabbed my son I wouldn't have been too keen on her parents turning up when he was barely out of intensive care and upsetting him.

TopazRocks · 19/04/2016 19:31

While I'd have the utmost sympathy for a real person who needed a stoma for 6 months or longer, I just find myself wishing, every time anyone mentions it esp the Knob himself, that he may suffer 6 months of very unpleasant flatus.

And PatnTone are being SO dim over all this. Somebody needs to sort them out pronto.

TopazRocks · 19/04/2016 19:31

BTW the thread title must be the best yet. Well done.

R4 · 19/04/2016 19:31

there's no injunction or other court order preventing him seeing Henry?

Why's that then? Is it because Pat'n'Tone have been sitting on their hands for the last fortnight (when they haven't been wringing them, that is).
They are the most useless advocates ever.

3littlefrogs · 19/04/2016 19:34

Why on earth is Henry being taken to see Rob?
Henry is a witness, so shouldn't be allowed to see Rob or Helen.

As for Ursula taking Henry to see Rob on her own - surely that wouldn't be allowed?

I am genuinely baffled.

TopazRocks · 19/04/2016 19:36

How easy is ti to reverse PR? Can Heeln's legal team apply for an injunction on her behalf? assuming she does give them more info of course.

Maybe this is the SW's attempt to show how unjust the system is for abused women who attack their abuser. It does seem very skewed if the child can see the father figure cum abuser b4 the trial but not the mother. Or is it just carp writing?

SmallLegsOrSmallEggs · 19/04/2016 19:39

P&T don't have to take him to see R just because he has PR.
My ex has PR but he has no contact arranged. So if I wanted to stop him seeing the kids he'd have to apply to court if he wanted to me to be compelled to allow it (no need).

If I did stop him it would be taken into account if he did make an application. But conversely as the RP if I did not stop him from seeing the kids and I had reason to believe he would hurt them then I could be culpable for failing to protect them.

However, in P&Ts case I probably would take H to see R if he asked to. Contact is for the child's benefit. Henry might be understandably worried that Rob is dead and to need reassurance of seeing him to see his ok(ish).

Doubt I'd take him twice though without a court order.

AugustaFinkNottle · 19/04/2016 19:42

R4, how could Pat and Tony get any court order stopping Rob seeing Henry? They haven't got any evidence.

I suspect they took him mostly because he wanted to see Rob, though. Though I'm a bit puzzled about why he does given his last memory of him. Maybe he's blotting it out, which is why it's coming out in nightmares?

glowfrog · 19/04/2016 19:45

OMG. I don't think I can bear to listen tonight if it ends up with Pat saying sorry to Rob.

I am utterly baffled by this SL now.

GypsyFl0ss · 19/04/2016 19:45

Another cracking title there Pseudo , thankyou once again.

PatnTone are being so bloody wet.

R4 · 19/04/2016 19:49

I don't know, Augusta but have they even tried? They took Henry there voluntarily for goodness sake! I wouldn't hand him over unless there was a court order against me, which takes time - and gives me time to give Helen's head a wobble.

Boomingmarvellous · 19/04/2016 19:49

That's why I think it's a bit absurd to say henwee stabbed knob. He'd be so traumatised it would be far more noticeable, and he certainly wouldn't be eager to see knob.

enochroot · 19/04/2016 19:50

Well I think that's my question answered. He's coming back to BHC and he's going to make demands.

EsmesBees · 19/04/2016 20:03

I can just about understand P&T taking Henry once to reassure him that Daddy was getting better. But this oddly passive attitude they are taking to their Grandson's life and happiness is infuriating. Since they can't do much for Helen you'd have thought protecting Henry from Rob would be their top priority.

AugustaFinkNottle · 19/04/2016 20:04

R4, there would be just no point in Pat and Tony trying to get a court order to stop Rob seeing Henry on the basis of "Our daughter's friend told us he was abusing her". They would be laughed out of court, and Rob would take absolute delight in waving his forensic triumph at them.

Vaara · 19/04/2016 20:05

Ok I know I'm behind (listen on catch up) but why on earth does Rob want to see Henry??

I think I'd better try to catch up with this thread... Blush

AugustaFinkNottle · 19/04/2016 20:08

There must be an interesting professional conundrum arising out of Rob renting a house from the business partner or employer of Helen's solicitor. I wonder if Usha will take steps to end the tenancy? I assume she could if it's an Assured Shorthand Tenancy?

Vaara · 19/04/2016 20:10

What the fuck? Is he faking it or actually looking forward to seeing Henry?

And Pat and Tony chatting to Rob? I got divorced and my parents couldn't bring themselves to look at my ex afterwards, never mind be civil.

Imagine it was your daughter - no way could I trust myself not to stick a pillow over his face.

Grrrrrrrr
