recycling I feel very vindicated by that link! It's exactly what I was saying earlier today Grin

shinynewusername · 06/04/2016 20:05

Susan is the village idiot

Definitely a contender. It's a strong field, though..

Elendon · 06/04/2016 20:06

Rob does have a history of violence; against Jess: coerced sex, and heaven knows what else.

Isn't Miles the younger brother?

Three stabs, and only four pints of blood, hardly a great loss - I've had five pints of blood pumped into me during an operation. Plus two more post operative for good measure. And I was fine.

kippersyllabub · 06/04/2016 20:06

It's all on Henwee now, to spill the beans about wob pushing a knife into his mummy's hand and weally shouting at him.

BeaufortBelle · 06/04/2016 20:07

The MNet threads are more enthralling than TA or the TV soaps. I think the MNet kichen sink drama should be launched. On ITV of course for the advertising revenue Grin

WipsGlitter · 06/04/2016 20:08

Is the slash to the wrist not Rob doing it to himself? When he said about Greg did he not do that on himself. Also Helen was holding the knife and he rushed at her?

Bruce as stereotypically awful as we predicted.

BeansMcCready · 06/04/2016 20:11

Didn't something dodgy happen with Knob on Tom's stag do? Did we find out what that was? If not might Tom have something to share? secretly hoping he beat up a helpless hill walker or something

Boomingmarvellous · 06/04/2016 20:12

Enrolling henwee into BS isn't cause for stabbing but it shows both he and arse lied and if hellins defence is that the was emotionally abused then surely blatent gas lighting proves Hellin was being driven to mental instability knowingly? Therefore a defence of temporary insanity would be reasonable?

And he does have a history of violence. He hit the hunt sab and did something at the cricket match (forgotten) He also hit Hellin (said to Kirsty before the knifing) and he hit jess. He also raped both women. Pretty violent controlling behaviour imo.

And I predicted already that Miles would come forward about his bullying brother at the trial on the previous page.... Grin

BYOSnowman · 06/04/2016 20:14

I think people are hoping he has a documented history of violence - with convictions preferably

Beevor · 06/04/2016 20:18

Unlikely I feel, but there is plenty of evidence of his controlling and violent behaviour.

Was Henwee actual there whenRob gave Hellin the knife? I thought he didn't come down till after and that Rob shouting at him was what pushed Hellin over he edge?

Vango · 06/04/2016 20:19

I feel compelled to post, though my hands are sore from sitting on them.

I may have said this before (!) but there is currently NO evidence against Rob. Not even Jess. Who's Jess? The wife who was dumped in favour of Helen? The person who slept with her husband in 2014 and took great delight in telling Helen on Valentine's night? Who then pursued and pursued Rob to accept responsibility for 'his son', going so far as to put a charge on his salary at Berrow Farm? Charlie knew how desperate she was for Rob's involvement. So now she says he raped her. And that he kept tabs on her. So how come he left her in Hampshire when he moved to Ambridge? Doesn't sound like someone whose movements were controlled to me. Sounds like a pack of lies to get her own back for his betrayal.

And the Boarding School. Henry was having problems at Loxley Barratt. He'd been bullying the girls. He was bed wetting. He told Helen he 'hated' her. His behaviour was deteriorating. Helen let someone untrustworthy look after him on bonfire night and he burnt his hand. Helen scalded him in the bath. What choice did poor Rob have but to investigate other options. Of course he wasn't going to tell Helen yet. Why would he? He knew she'd object. He'd wait until he could talk her round gently surely? He was, after all, only making enquiries. He made sure to tell the school that Helen wasn't coping terribly well with Henry at home. Rob was concerned, surely, that things could only get worse once the baby had arrived.

And Kirsty? Hah. Kirsty's had it in for him since day 1.

And Shula? What. She's going to tell the police she lied in 2014. Why should they believe her now? Surely she's lying now to protect the family.

That is all I have to say.

MrsCampbellBlack · 06/04/2016 20:20

Well I reckon if both Jess and Helen tell the police that Rob is a rapist they would hopefully listen.

Elendon · 06/04/2016 20:21

The fact that Rob is still unconscious indicates he fell heavily.

And his stoma would not be permenent.

Butteredparsnips · 06/04/2016 20:22

I Think (I hope) Bore is right re Miles. I am taking The way that this appears to be stacking up against Helen, as evidence to the contrary. We are going to have an episode soon where the drama swings the other way, and Rob's mis-demeanours unravel.

In the meantime, I am concerned over infested that Hel will go in to Labour and be taken to the same hospital as Rob. The Titchener clan will then try to muscle their way into the maternity dept. please don't let thus happen

kippersyllabub · 06/04/2016 20:22

I feel compelled to listen again to Sunday's episode. Compelled I tell you.

Wordsaremything · 06/04/2016 20:23

Just catching up still myles behind but agree with fern about the scriptwriters being painted into a corner now.

Elendon · 06/04/2016 20:23

Vango what is your evidence he had been bullying? Please don't say Ursula.

recyclingbag · 06/04/2016 20:26

Have we discussed the Audiobook.

Do we think it's in preparation for a trial, rather than the end of the story?

SmallLegsOrSmallEggs · 06/04/2016 20:26

Elendon nope. 1) its an induced coma.
2) its not really its a plot device to increase speculation.

glowfrog · 06/04/2016 20:27

OMG Susan. Are you stupid or a cow? Or both? Unbelievable.

Except too believeable. One more reason to hope Rob's misdeeds are properly exposed so she can feel some shame.

Butteredparsnips · 06/04/2016 20:27

vango Rob said Henry was wetting the bed. Rob said Henry was mis behaving at school and at the party. I'm trying to remember if these were corroborated by anyone else?.

Vango · 06/04/2016 20:27

I haven't got any evidence. And there's no evidence of the scalding. Or that Helen wasn't coping. Or that she was scaring Henry during her sleepwalking. But Rob's already put those stories about. Helen's never given anyone (prior to last week) any indication that he's anything other than a perfect husband and father who is concerned about her above all others. Even her own bloody mother described her as complicated and difficult. Whilst believing that Rob was a bloody saint.

SmallLegsOrSmallEggs · 06/04/2016 20:27

Elendon the bullying was coroborated by Emmur.

Elendon · 06/04/2016 20:28

It doesn't matter if the violence is documented or not. And it's violent to be gas lighted, coerced into sex, and fists aren't obliged. That is what this new law is all about.
