BTW where is Ambridge View? I always imagined it up a hill, a bit out of the village, hence the name 'view'. But when PC Plot came knocking, Sooosan seemed to be in the body of the village.

And who is living in Hazel's new cottage that he evicted the G clan form? Is that Dr Shagalocke? For months I had a dream that Hazel and Knob would meet head-on on the bypass. And both die. Does that make me a bad person?!

I wonder what Emma and Ed's spin on Knob is. Will Emmur go with her mother's view? I like to think Ed is more discerning.

The nice (?!) about watching The Walking Dead a lot at the moment is that I am utterly disensitised to the severity of Rob's injury. Perforated bowel and lung? Pfff. Walk it off, mate.

Is that the best legal advice to say 'no comment' - I've never quite understood why people do that but assume it is for sensible legal reasons?

Sounds like the police have some doubts though re. the phone tracking but hard for them to do their job if Helen says nothing.

I think they had to charge her but the phone tracking explains why he always popped up with a Henry crisis when Helen tried to get out for the afternoon and "found her out". More bastardy than meets the eye.

The two women officers are beyond awful. No kindness at all, especially when mh may feature.

Incidentally, I know a 62-ish Bruce. Very, very county, public school, very smart regiment, very well spoken. So nothing wrong with the name for someone of that background.

Not surprising at all. She's guilty as hell and doesn't even want to help herself.

No comment wouldn't help her at all since the right to remain silent has essentially been abolished in the UK "it may harm your defence if you do not mention when questioned something which you later rely on in court."

But really this is infuriating. What I've learned so far from TA public service on this storyline.

  1. EA and CC can be conveyed on radio and people listen
  2. Women are driven to kill their abusive partners
  3. mental health problems - real or imagined - can and will be used against you
  4. If you're in an abusive relationship there's no way out other than killing yourself or spending a significant amount of time in a cell.

So, were I in an abusive relationship now, I'd be staying right put. Better the abusive partner than being separated from my kid(s).

Thanks TA for advertising that you're dealing with reality and presenting how it works in real life. Very bloody useful.

Legal advice. She's obviously still in a bad state, there is every chance that she will drop herself right in it. I suspect the solicitor wants to know precisely what they've got by way of evidence against her before saying anything at all about her side of the story.

Surely they'll examine Rob's phone and discover his phone calls with the school and realise it's a boarding school? Assume Henwee will have mentioned something about being sent away when he finished talking about power rangers and yellow beads.

Would it be elder abuse if Christine just took away Peggy's purse, credit card, reading glasses, bus pass , etc. And gave her a naice audio-book instead? Maybe stick her in an empty room too. P.S. I can't stand Peggy, though I do see the point of her as a device.

Can i ask, is the continuance of the 'no comment' while the solicitor gets the responses all in order, or is Helen refusing to talk to him also? The phone tracking is v interesting, hopefully will help a little. Eventually.

I wonder what they asked Henry. I suppose he'd only answer whatever eh was asked, so maybe not so useful if the interviewer had already made up her mind. Oh well.

Presumably Rob's defence (if he makes it that far) to tracking Helen's phone will be that he was concerned about her state of mind and wanted to make sure she didn't put Henry at risk with her irratic and forgetful behaviour. How much more can the odds stack up against Helen?
