I thought when H was told by K that the R had survived she was about to go back in and have another go.
Took K a while to dial 999.

OneMoreStepAroundTheBendIGo · 04/04/2016 19:25

So glad they mentioned the custard. That clears up such an important mystery. I no longer need to wonder whether or not she managed to make the custard before everything kicked off.WTAF?

starsorwater · 04/04/2016 19:25

R def won't like tuna after this.

BitOutOfPractice · 04/04/2016 19:25

Helen taken into custardy after Rob gets his just desserts?

Fink · 04/04/2016 19:26

So, all that blood which took so long to cover up and Henry's still going 'but daddy's only sleeping!' As soon as Helen's released she's going to need to sort out some sort of medical assessment for that child. I suppose the SWs thought it would be too realistic cruel to have him traumatised, but even so ...

BoreOfWhabylon · 04/04/2016 19:26

taken into custardy Grin

YesterdayOnceMore · 04/04/2016 19:26

I also heard Helen say something to Kirsty that sounded like she had INTENDED to kill him.

Stickerrocks · 04/04/2016 19:27

I still think he will relapse after making a statement about Helen's murderous intent.

redshoeblueshoe · 04/04/2016 19:27

Did Helen say Henwee was asleep in bed ?

YesterdayOnceMore · 04/04/2016 19:28

Oh! You've just reminded me- she had tried to clean up the custard. It's going to look like she was trying to hide the crime Shock

PseudoBadger · 04/04/2016 19:28

Well since we have time to critique:

"Rob - dead? No, no, he's, er, resting. He's just pining for the Canadian plains. As Helen is taken into custardy, discuss the Archers here."

I can swap out the Python bit for just desserts, what do you think?

First ever request to MN Towers …. this is surely trending/discussion of the day?
C'mon

HumphreyCobblers · 04/04/2016 19:29

I found that very hard to listen to, the panic in Helen's voice and poor Tony and Pat having a normal conversation before all hell breaks loose

Stickerrocks · 04/04/2016 19:30

Helen was hysterical, but it's a shame Kirsty couldn't persuade her think before incriminating herself. However, under the circumstances Kirsty was sensibly going for the least bad option of keeping Rob alive with towels. I wonder if Helen had custard yellow towels or blood red? Tony was the only one thinking like a parent while Patbot obviously thinks that Helen was a bit hormonal and intends to get her locked up for her own good.

trufflehunterthebadger · 04/04/2016 19:30

Do you really have to cuff a pregnant and emotional woman

would you fancy sitting in a confined space with a highly unpredictable female you dont know from Adam who has just stabbed someone ?

i've sat in the back of a police car with a female murderer who was delusional, even cuffed and my hand on my captor it was scary as fuck

BoreOfWhabylon · 04/04/2016 19:30

Am relistening. It's on Listen Again already.

Gherkinsmummy · 04/04/2016 19:31

Can anything that Helen said while hysterical and in shock be used as evidence?

BathTangle · 04/04/2016 19:31

Re: Henry's acting - Louiza Patikas has previously said that she and Tim Watson don't meet the actor who plays Henry, he records his lines separately. That would explain why he sounded so wierdly calm, but on the plus side does mean that they are not exposing him to all the trauma of hearing what's being played out around him.

PseudoBadger · 04/04/2016 19:31

If she was cautioned

Surely Helen's shock is going to precipitate the birth?

EasyToEatTiger · 04/04/2016 19:33

I am sooooo relieved that Kirsty didn't have to give Rob mouth to mouth. I was worried about that.

Putthetulipsthere · 04/04/2016 19:34

Did Pat sound more concerned about Knob than her heavily pregnant daughter?

Vango · 04/04/2016 19:34

Rob's going to owe Kirsty his life! How's she going to cope with the knowledge that she saved him?
