The Archers. No need to share the thread with anyone else darling, we can have a lovely time just us together. It must be Henry's bedtime.

Adam's just being his usual dithery, indecisive self. Surely that won't be the last we'll hear from Charlie?

Is the black pudding story that Knob won't allow H to take part? Think of the potential harm to the baby, darling? OR will it be how will Helen avoid eating anything?

trevortrevorslatterfry · 25/01/2016 14:23

Hello! thanks for the new thread Smile

Putthetulipsthere · 25/01/2016 14:56

Just checking in for later. Like the thread title, Pseudo, very apt

ppeatfruit · 25/01/2016 15:15

Bertrand I think it's a committee run shop, so all of Bridge Farm managers, communal projects tend to be problematic don't they?

enochroot · 25/01/2016 15:23

I laugh at the way he always invokes Helen's name when he's giving an opinion as though she's been consulted.

I wonder if it's pay day today.

Toomuchtea · 25/01/2016 15:37

Dashes over from old thread, waves to all on new thread. Dashes out again to work.... do you think I could sub-contract to Helen? She's not doing much atm.

Before I go (not that I am avoiding work, oh no) what do we all think about Charlie? Is he Gone for Good? If he comes back, how?

I like Charlie. Don't much like what he and Adam got up to, but I like Charlie.

Smallegs, absolutely loved your Rob meets the thread post. Brilliant.

Right, I am going now.

Gruach · 25/01/2016 16:43

I like Charlie. Don't much like what he and Adam got up to, but I like Charlie.

Yes. But after the Last Ever World Tour Launch Party and the Last Ever Gig and the Secret Even More Last Blink And You Miss It Unplanned Appearance + protestations of undying adoration from fans - I'm a bit Charlied out!

I must say, Eleanor Bron is doing some good stuff now she's left Ambridge. Haven't seen the play but she's just moved me to tears on R4 (With Great Pleasure). I wonder if she'll ever return.

ppeatfruit · 25/01/2016 16:54

Yes the END of Charlie was a little drawn out Grin

Gruach ref. With Great Pleasure, I agree, I hope EB hasn't left Amb, for long I love her voice Grin

Stickerrocks · 25/01/2016 17:18

Surely Tom would moan to Fallon about Knob & Fallon would mention that Kirsty thinks he's a knob too. Please can someone start to have a normal conversation involving a bit of cattiness.

AustinAmbassadorYReg · 25/01/2016 17:39

Just caught up with the omnibus. I am a bit confused by why Toby had to borrow £500 to go to Brighton, all of a sudden. Apparently the money "did the job."

I'm thinking either drugs, or a hitman?! Confused

Gruach · 25/01/2016 17:44

Nobody knows Austin!

Not even the SWs I suspect.

AustinAmbassadorYReg · 25/01/2016 17:46

I hope it's not another potential storyline that gets swept under the carpet. I'm still gutted about Matt. I need closure sigh

BYOSnowman · 25/01/2016 17:55

I hope carol never returns. Maybe she will be run over by q tram

Eleanor bron can get better jobs!

RockNRollNerd · 25/01/2016 18:00

Given the archivist has bitten the dust (or perhaps was seen off by Samantha and Sven?!) I'm assuming Toby isn't wrapped up in the same dodgy south coast loan shark business that Alice nearly got embroiled in in Amex many moons ago?

spiker · 25/01/2016 18:03

So.....what DID happen to the archivist???

AustinAmbassadorYReg · 25/01/2016 18:05

Ooh, interesting theory, Rock.

Gruach · 25/01/2016 18:19

Tossed aside so the past could be reinvented.

Retired and not replaced?

Anyway, with the Archers conference coming up they should know that the listeners eyes and ears are upon them. One of the speakers will be talking about medical ethics in Ambridge, specifically Doc Locke's question to Rob. Which, we have now been told, (forgot to thank whoever revealed this in the last thread) was a scripting error.

I bet Steven Moffat has an Archivist ...

Mandolinoparadiso · 25/01/2016 18:56

As Helen can no longer leave the house, do we know who's making the cheese at Bridge Farm?

BYOSnowman · 25/01/2016 19:05

Bleurgh. I can't stand pip. Really wish we weren't stuck with her for life.

And Matthew sounds really young -I read the actor is 30 but he sounds the same age as josh. And he sounds like he's reading lines into a microphone rather than talking to someone

Stickerrocks · 25/01/2016 19:07

Hopefully Helen will be making her feelings known on Friday, because it must be payday at the end of the week, even if she's too wan & pathetic to make cheese anymore.

AustinAmbassadorYReg · 25/01/2016 19:07

Matthew, Josh and Rex all sound exactly the same.

BYOSnowman · 25/01/2016 19:10

They wasted burns night on a pip/brethren sl. Yawn.

BYOSnowman · 25/01/2016 19:15

Yes - I couldn't figure out why Matthew stayed with Toby while Rex went off with pip!!

ObsidianBlackbirdMcNight · 25/01/2016 19:18

Matthew is the actual worst at acting

R4 · 25/01/2016 19:24

That was weird.
A haggis dinner is very simple - why was Jolene stressing so much.
And why is Dan getting coaching from Toby instead of Rex - the ex pro?
The whole fairbro/pip/matthew thing was mega-weird.Confused
