Thanks, Gruach, I've done that - and then realised the chances of my getting to Finsbury Square for 9.30 on a Wednesday morning are minimal Sad

BYOSnowman · 24/01/2016 09:21

Perhaps we should have a new thread just for the conference. We can colonise radio addicts yet!!

BitOutOfPractice · 24/01/2016 09:22

I have 2 tickets and it looks like I may not be able to go now

BitOutOfPractice · 24/01/2016 09:23

Hello and nice new thread thanks. How rude of me to barge in like that!

cheminotte · 24/01/2016 10:26

Why is the theme tune different for the omnibus?
Catching up on omnibus while doing ironing but just heard Rob and think I may have to find something else to listen to, I don't think I can bear to hear him stirring again. (Already heard all episodes during the week).

redshoeblueshoe · 24/01/2016 10:36

Thanks for the new thread pseudo

BYOSnowman · 24/01/2016 10:37

When is it?

WhereTheFuckIsWonderWoman · 24/01/2016 10:42

I spent yesterday being ill and managed to catch up on all of January so far. I'd heard about two episodes all month so needed to fill in the gaps. Much time was spent shouting at the radio at either Rob or Phoebe and her simpering over what to do about her boyfriend. Didn't help my headache at all 😣

I've got to make more of a concerted effort to catch the omnibus from now on. Dipping in and out isn't nearly satisfying enough.

BitOutOfPractice · 24/01/2016 10:43

17th Feb I think. I now have a potential work clash. I'm trying to work out if I need to be at the work thing or not. I suspect I do

R4 · 24/01/2016 10:47

Will I regret it if I don't go? I thought that I might be needed at a work thing but probably not.

BitOutOfPractice · 24/01/2016 10:51

Even if I do go I have a spare ticket if anyone wants it

BYOSnowman · 24/01/2016 10:57

I can't do that Wednesday unfortunately. Will be interesting to hear what happens though!! So we need one person t least!!

TopOfTheCliff · 24/01/2016 10:59

I wish I could get there but I am on the rota to work that day and can't change it. Also it takes a while to get to London from our quiet green corner of the countryside.

ppeatfruit · 24/01/2016 10:59

Morning all Grin Thanks for the new thread Psuedo. I'm going to comment on what was said on the last thread about our lovely Queen not looking relaxed or comfortable when riding.

Ironic because ASFAICR she NEVER looks relaxed and comfortable except when it's at the races or walking her dogs!!

SmallLegsOrSmallEggs · 24/01/2016 11:42

Knob: (looks round thread) I didn't know we were expecting visitors Hellin darling. You musn't over do it, you know how tired you get.
To all: lovely to see you. I'd offer you some tea but you must have lots of other threads to get on with. Although I am sure you can't be as busy as Hellon and I these days what with running the shop almost single-handed AND looking after Henry(annoying laugh) aren't we darling?

Hellon really is quite exhausted. So if you wouldn't mind....

Good. They've gone. Hellin have we not spoken about uninvited guests dropping by before? You really musn't let them in darling. It's far too much for a woman in your condition.

LyndaNotLinda · 24/01/2016 11:44

I'd love to go but can't get to London by 9.30 :(

Thanks for new thread pseudo - great title and thanks for explaining your name. I've always wondered Smile

I enjoyed that though - particularly as I thought Lynda said shepherd's hat on wheels which I was rather mystified by Grin

She also did a splendid sniff

Gruach · 24/01/2016 12:02

Brilliant SmallLegs - I'm now feeling a little bit oppressed by his gaze.

GypsyFl0ss · 24/01/2016 12:06

I've just scanned that quickly as a shepherd's pie on wheels! And thought...is Fallon branching out then ? 😄

Just caught the end of film where Rob and Tom locks horns slightly over the ordering thing. Typical impulsive Tom and such a shame 'cos now Patbot is back in Rob's corner despite him playing her very impressively only a minute before.

ppeatfruit · 24/01/2016 12:41

Great Lynda A shepherd's HAT on wheels it sounds fun. What sort of hat would a shepherd wear nowadays a hoodie ? Grin

ArgyMargy · 24/01/2016 13:09

Oooh Small that's quite unnerving! Honestly Knob we didn't think, we just thought it might be nice to have a get-together, like we always used to...

BertrandRussell · 24/01/2016 13:19

Just lifted this from Twitter.......

Shepherds hut. A sort of luxury garden shed or Eco caravan.
Very bijou. Very Lynda.

Minimammoth · 24/01/2016 14:51

great thread title. Is that Hellin I see rocking in the corner while she concentrates on 'our boy'.

Eastpoint · 24/01/2016 16:13

Thank you for the new thread Pseudo.

Fully fitted out new shepherd's huts cost a fortune, I costed one last summer (haven't bought it).

Joskar · 24/01/2016 16:22

I thought the shepherd's hut was a reference to Terry Pratchett. I imagine Lynda would read Discworld.
