JennyDarling would NEVER allow smoking in the house (I was about to say fags then realised I'd be tripping myself over with double entendres)

Pay attention, SWs!

Veritat · 02/02/2016 12:11

Didn't Helen actress say something to the effect that she'd never met Henwee? Which makes it sound as if they maybe do have a child recording it away from the studio. Maybe he's a Troughton grandchild.

redshoeblueshoe · 02/02/2016 12:20

veritat yes the beeb always seems to find work for anyone who is related to a Doctor

JessieMcJessie · 02/02/2016 12:48

Quite Cutted. Especially not in The Kitchen.

Minimammoth · 02/02/2016 13:27

Helen really does not want this baby IMO. It may be unconscious but it is destructive behaviour even if she gets destroyed. Horrible to listen to. Rob is way out of his depth. How long before she is in intensive care and he has Henry.

SmallLegsOrSmallEggs · 02/02/2016 13:48

I think something will happen and she will feel horribly, horribly guilty.

SeekEveryEveryKnownHidingPlace · 02/02/2016 14:15

The continuity announcer just now!

Gherkinsmummy · 02/02/2016 14:18

I'm scared to listen tonight!

Veritat · 02/02/2016 14:21

What did the continuity announcer say?

SeekEveryEveryKnownHidingPlace · 02/02/2016 14:32

'Trust me, you don't want to miss this one'!

Veritat · 02/02/2016 14:37

Oh dear. Today's the Blackberry Line trip, isn't it?

SeekEveryEveryKnownHidingPlace · 02/02/2016 14:44

It's meant to be....

BYOSnowman · 02/02/2016 14:46

Do you think Henry will fall over and scuff his knee - rob will then bar him from ever being alone in Helens company again

SeekEveryEveryKnownHidingPlace · 02/02/2016 15:00

I think Rob will find out she took him out of school early, and a bit of hell will break loose.

Then he'll find out why, and the rest of it will.

Toomuchtea · 02/02/2016 15:19

I think Helen will dissolve into tears, Roy will take Henry off and amuse him, and Kirsty will Learn All.

bigbuttons · 02/02/2016 16:22

Yes that article sums it up very well. It's like reading my own story. Well I'll certainly try and remember to tune in tonight!

AnnieNoMouse · 02/02/2016 16:24

Thank you for the link Small - an interesting article.

AskingForAPal · 02/02/2016 17:16

"Listening to Jill and pip talk makes me think of 'I'm sorry I haven't a clue' when they have the duet with the kazoo and the penny whistle"

AHAHAHAHAHAHA thanks for that, totally inspired.

Really hope this trip happens today. But agree if it does Helen won't hear the end of taking Henry out of school, because it'll lead to juvenile delinquency, teen pregnancy, dropping out of college etc.

Do we think Roy was trying to ask Kirsty "out"?

Abraid2 · 02/02/2016 17:33

Why didn't Roy take his own small child, Abbie, on the trip?

enochroot · 02/02/2016 17:33

Yes, I thought so but Roy didn't miss a beat when K suggested bringing someone else along so probably not.

I think Rob's going to make a scene or push her over the edge. If Roy and Kirsty are quick on the up-take they might get her out.

AskingForAPal · 02/02/2016 17:37

good question, Abraid! I did wonder why he didn't think of inviting Hayley, which is why I was wondering if he was seizing the opportunity to get closer to housemate Kirst.

Ploy · 02/02/2016 17:38

Matthew gonna struggle to find a farm IN Penrith.... it's,a town. Perhaps NEAR Penrith.

Or did I miss some thing.

Stickerrocks · 02/02/2016 17:41

Excellent link Small.

Henry has already had a little accident when Helen showed a degree of independence on bonfire night, so they can't play that trick again. Henry can't not tell daddy, so I'm expecting a lot of "I'm very disappointed" comments if she goes ahead with her plan tonight. Rob is bound to play happy families until after the midwife visit, but he will have extra ammunition available to go with her. Then he can tell the midwife what a naughty girl she has been by overdoing things and use that as an excuse to isolate her further, cutting her hours back at the shop and never letting her out of his sight. Please let me be proved wrong.

Stickerrocks · 02/02/2016 17:43

I think that Roy & Kirsty are a no-no. They need to have some couple who are just good friends. Abbie is too far away with Hayley to come for an afternoon out and it's bound to be easier to get Henry out of year R than a slightly older Abbie. She is older, isn't she? I'm losing track of her since she left Ambridge.
