scrying pale

minimammoth, is this your phone's joke attempt at crystal ball or some new forecasting device? Grin

BYOSnowman · 19/01/2016 18:55

Where does Charlie live?

I didn't listen to Amex so didn't know about Harry - so I guess Adam didn't either

BYOSnowman · 19/01/2016 19:11

Shepherd hut is very Lynda!! Nice to hear Lillian and Lynda.

So is this the dower house being snapped up by Justin? Guess he wouldn't want to rent.

Maybe rob will want to rent it as he is so deluded about money

So is Lillian setting her sights on him. Seems a bit weird

BYOSnowman · 19/01/2016 19:12

So they have been reading these threads - a random mention of the other grandkids!!

BertrandRussell · 19/01/2016 19:12

Oh ffs- why does Justin know more about property prices than a co director of Amside.

TASWAMA

Gruach · 19/01/2016 19:13

Noli lives!

Hurrah!

BumpPower · 19/01/2016 19:14

What are Joe and Eddie doing? (been feeding toddler missed the start)

BYOSnowman · 19/01/2016 19:15

Yep - as you say Bertrand

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 19/01/2016 19:21

I think Joe and Eddie were either repairing some sort of hut at Grundy's field or building a pig arc/ark (no idea how this is spelled, I only know the word from years of listening to TA).

Gruach · 19/01/2016 19:27

As Joe mentioned the place still smelling of burning I guess it must have been the Wassail shed that caught fire.

AlthoughConfuseduntil I thought about it I imagined they were working on the Village Hall. I dunno. Was distracted.

The conversation about Justin didn't make sense on any level. If Lillian wanted to see her financial advisor why would Justin be a substitute? She can't want to lay all her financial details at his feet. Weird.

R4 · 19/01/2016 19:37

Joe and Eddie seemed to be doing some bodge job somewhere within Grange Farm. They almost burnt down a shed. They built pig arks in the outbuildings. Clarrie had to nag about muddy boots indoors.
I hate the way that the SW are implying that the Grundys are treating the place carelessly, like they did in the old days. Would they (esp Ed) be so crass and ungrateful to O&C.

Gruach · 19/01/2016 19:43

Oh, yes, Eddie did say a couple of days ago that he could throw up a replacement shed easily. That must have been it.

To be fair I doubt that Caroline and Oliver would ever imagine the Grundys would keep their place in pristine condition.

Minimammoth · 19/01/2016 20:24

finest grundy since I had to give the crystal ball back to bore( she's very possessive) I have had to resort to a bucket of water to do the scrying. Thus scrying pale. It never says anything good< kicks bucket>

BYOSnowman · 19/01/2016 20:29

Is it a white bucket!!

I didn't realise black pudding was made with pig blood. I knew it was blood but never considered which animal it came from

AnnieNoMouse · 19/01/2016 20:44

I think Lillian has an ulterior motive - she was talking tonight about missing having a man in her life.

Gruach · 19/01/2016 20:57

Wouldn't disagree with that. And coaxing men from their rightful beds is one of her areas of expertise.

BYOSnowman · 19/01/2016 21:07

Bleurgh- I picture Justin as a rather rotund man in his early sixties who is bald and sweats a lot and has a hanky to mop his brow with

BYOSnowman · 19/01/2016 21:11

And I always picture Lillian as T-bag (Georgina hale)

FinestGrundyTurkey · 19/01/2016 21:14

I picture her more as Audrey from Corrie

FinestGrundyTurkey · 19/01/2016 21:15

but with the Hon actress's accent Grin

FinestGrundyTurkey · 19/01/2016 21:17

good lord - I just googled her & she's now married to Mark Eden, who played the baddie who ended up under a Blackpool tram while pursuing Rita Fairclough

you couldn't make it up

BYOSnowman · 19/01/2016 21:18

Did Audrey marry the butcher who said 'I say I say' a lot. Cos that's how I picture Justin!

I see Lillian as rather petite! Jenny is the tall one!

FinestGrundyTurkey · 19/01/2016 21:20

(NB I haven't watched Corrie for years now but I did back in the Blackpool tram days of yore)

FinestGrundyTurkey · 19/01/2016 21:21

Yes, BYOS - Fred Elliott

Audrey & Fred, Lilian & Justin, matching pairs Grin

BYOSnowman · 19/01/2016 21:28

I've only ever seen it when at other people's- is Audrey still alive?
