So she's had one NHS scan and the private one. Shouldn't she have been offered nuchal translucency by now? And an anomaly scan?

SmallLegsOrSmallEggs · 18/01/2016 19:54

They did mention there would be another scan when they went for the private one but Rob couldn't wait till then. So it must be soon.

IorekByrnisonsArmour · 18/01/2016 20:02

I think they had another scan Confused

WipsGlitter · 18/01/2016 20:16

Yes, Rob will order all sorts of shite because of the change in "strategy". What an arse.

I think Helen is due her second NHS scan.

Boomingmarvellous · 18/01/2016 20:42

My crystal ball says Charlie will get the sack because of what Rob the knob wrote about Berrow farm (with heavy hints it was Charlie's fault), and the Scottish job will be withdrawn because Justin thinks the sun shines out of knobs ass. If Charlie stays poor Ian is a gonner.

Marchate · 18/01/2016 20:42

She had a 20 week scan

BYOSnowman · 18/01/2016 20:43

Isn't there a midwife scan then? What about the lucozade test?

LillianGish · 18/01/2016 20:55

My mum is convinced Knob is drugging Helen in some way.

Boomingmarvellous · 18/01/2016 21:23

I don't think he would risk his son and heir being harmed with drugs?

I think Helen has returned to her eating disorder as a way of regaining some control over her life and perhaps to deny to herself she is pregnant and how it occurred. All subconsciously of course.

toldmywrath · 18/01/2016 21:36

Just popping in to remind you all of the wonderful snooker player Barry Hawkins who is not middle aged (age 36 I believe) and is middle class. Grin

toldmywrath · 18/01/2016 21:37

Lucozade test BYOS ? Is that predictive text for Nuchal Fold?

HildaFlorence · 18/01/2016 21:44

Just watching Silent Winess and Ian is in it, At least the voice is just the same

Hadron21 · 18/01/2016 21:46

Hilda I was just thinking the same thing!

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 18/01/2016 21:55

I assumed Lucozade test was glucose tolerance test. The vile drink I was forced to drink during that certainly tasted like Lucozade.

TopOfTheCliff · 18/01/2016 21:55

The Lucozade test is a screening test for diabetes in pregnancy. Done if there are special risk factors eg previous big baby.

I am more concerned that Rob could blackmail Tom over the "non organic" stuff being sold in an organic shop than that he will buy more NO stuff. You could hear him filing away the facts for future use against Tom.

And where did Maurice spring from?? or is it Morris?

R4 · 18/01/2016 21:56

Carol has been blissfully suspiciously quiet recently. Is she supplying Rob with the magical sleeping powders?

LillianGish · 18/01/2016 21:59

Knob's definitely taken that conversation with Tom as an invitation to stock whatever he likes in the shop. Brilliant acting from Knob who managed to convey that by tone of voice alone - Tom hasn't noticed of course, from his tone of voice he seemed to be saying "It's my shop, but if I want to make an exception I will - of course it doesn't mean the shop is now no longer organic only." I also thought it was significant that Knob talked about "Helen and I" with reference to wanting to stock the geese - as if he'd ever consult Helen on anything! He's going to run the shop into the ground just as he did with Ambridge Organics and blame Fallon's cafe for the failure (and no doubt Helen for having her eye off the ball!) And everyone will believe him Hmm

BYOSnowman · 18/01/2016 22:00

Everyone had to do the lucozade test where I am! I had very low risk pregnancies but still had to do it with each

Given Helen was so open with her midwife about the ed,wouldn't they be keeping a closer eye on her?

It's been nice to hear a lot of the regulars back

BYOSnowman · 18/01/2016 22:01

Is the cafe organic?

Gruach · 18/01/2016 22:04

... where did Maurice spring from ...

Professional miserabilist, Tom's butcher and the coolest person in Borsetshire. By far.

Also co-starred with Jazzer in possibly the greatest ever Archers episode. Think Lynda was in it too. (Couple of years ago maybe.)

LillianGish · 18/01/2016 22:05

mAurice is one of my favourite characters.

BYOSnowman · 18/01/2016 22:07

So doc said that know was supposed to be Brian's replacement

Are we to bow assume they have decided Adam will be the philanderer in chief? Can't see Ian as a Jenny though

enochroot · 18/01/2016 22:13

I bet Ian could do a wonderful lunch for the shoot though!

GypsyFl0ss · 18/01/2016 22:13

Maurice makes sausages for Tom. He's only been heard a few times but possesses a very dry wit and is in search of the perfect lady.

In theory BYOS Helen should be under the specialist midwife given her stint in an ED unit and they should be flagging her up to community midwives & HV team with the latter doing at least one antenatal home visit. Around here the glucose tolerance test is standard at about 28 wks I think.

Knob and his strategy. God I detest that man so much but I really admire the actor for managing to convey such nuance in his voice.

BYOSnowman · 18/01/2016 22:16

If he hadn't been such a good radio actor the whole sl would have been absurd
