Oh, I dunno helicopter, she apparently achieved stellar GCSEs (can't remember if realistically competitive but certainly showing academic aptitude).

And prior to that she demonstrated great curiousity, strength of character and bravery in deciding to spend a year (?) in South Africa with Kate and family. I was rather impressed that the SWs allowed her to have noticed the country she travelled to.

In general I tend to assume that Kate's alarms and excursions stem from frustrated braininess so it's nice that Phoebe has inherited something good from her.

Indu we don't know that, the SW haven't given us info either way. For all we know she has a busy after school life in Felpersham serving at a food bank or running an enterprise scheme with Josh Archer/selling weed in a back street to Freddy's friends. When we aren't listening they could get up to all sorts and we wouldn't know.

I'm a speadshitter too and I'm delighted DDD favours the same highlight colour as I do. Such good taste.

I don't get the PPE thing either tbh, for the same reasons. They make it sound so easy and it's just not.

Re the Brookfield shares - I vaguely recall Lizzie being obnoxious at the time and insisting that Frilly should not be done out of 'their inheritance'. She basically threatened thcweam and thcweam until she was sick and then hold her breath until she turned blue and passed out. Jill and Phil then caved in as LIZZIE HAS A POORLY HEART AND MUST NEVER NEVER BE UPSET.

So I reckon the B shares must get passed on.

However, with the unfortunate loss of the archivist, it is likely that this will be conveniently overlooked forgotten.

Oh yes I was going to ask about the archivist. I like to think they flounced when they realised how cavalier with Ambridge history and characters SOC was going to be.

I'm not convinced she'll get the grades. She'll fuck it up over Alex.

But, I'm quietly hopeful. Alex tried to talk her out of applying and after some straight talking from Roy she went ahead. I haven't listened to tonight's yet but the way JD was simpering about Alex the other day really annoyed me. JD loves a bad boy!

Elpth- YY, that scene between Shula & Knob was so clumsy, as was the follow up scene with Hellin. I thought the bit about cake was really odd too, clearly put in just to underline Hellin's eating disorder. Although if nothing else that should alert people to Hellin's plight, for what pregnant woman saves a slice of cake for later??

As usual I am very late to the party. Have scrolled down so I don't see any spoilers, but will probably be catching up this week as driving a fair bit.
