Anyawy, bet there is money in loo roll, particularly if you were in at the start like Solly. When Heatherpet dies, I think she will leave Ruth and David shares in the toilet paper business and the house. They will sell them and use the money to buy the others out of Brookfield, or part of it. Everyone is then placated to a extent and the road does not go ahead.

When I say the other side of the road I mean the proposed road. Of course it's not going to happen.
However, Brian needs more land to farm so he made the first offer on Brookfield. If David isn't now prepared to sell up it might be handy to sell or rent Brian a bit of land to cover some of the costs he has incurred lately.

But really the SLs as they are at the moment have many different possible outcomes and it feels as though the whole of Ambridge is in a state of flux.

The way I see this going then is there's a huge sibs-based barney over where's-my-Brookfield-money, Ruth being furious, and then the solution being Heatherpet SOTMC and the sibs being paid off in toilet paper money.

I really liked the Phil aural hallucination bit & I thought David acted superbly. TA has been really picking up steam recently & I'm enjoying it a lot.
I like the way Helen's housekeeping duties & what keeps her busy was picked apart by the doughty thread participants. Yes- what does she do that takes so much time?

And cows can swim as well, so if there is a sink hole & a new lake appears, no worries there.

I never realised about the toilet roll empire either, so Ruth could bog off to Prudder & leave Daveed after all.

Judging by the odd thread I've seen here over the years, I think she probably irons every single textile item in the house, changes the bedding and towels every day, dusts, polishes, scrubs, disinfects and vacuums the entire house every day, cooks every ingredient for every meal from scratch, tidies every single item away as soon as it's finished with.

Re. Helen's permanent state of having A Lot on Her Plate (as everyone keeps saying), I seem to recall that she's always bordered on OCD. As Mimsy says, she's probably doing the equivalent of a forensic deep-clean on the house every single day, as well as preparing the all-important lunches that she and Rob are constantly mentioning in tones of near-religious reverence.

Also re the question of Jill's favourite child, I reckon she's only so keen on David because living at Brokefailed gives her the perfect opportunity to maintain a 24/7 force-feeding programme, with 2 hungry farmers, 2 teenage boys and Robopip to cater for. I doubt she'd be able to do that at either Lizard's or St. Smugula's

Let's hope Helen and Jill never end up living in the same house!
