Rob hit him first. I'm not sure when Shula arrived on the scene but she could justifiably say she doesn't know who started it. But I think she have an accurate account

Surely Shula told the truth. It will go to trial and we'll have a courtroom Drama a L' Archers.

Shula seemed way too uncomfortable with both Rob and Oliver at the end - I think she told the truth, not Rob's version. Thought it was amusing we'd had Kate's retelling of her and Roy's dust up just a couple of days ago, then Rob also trying to make out both that he was a victim but also could easily have won.

I only heard the last bit but I was sure Shula has told the truth. And Rob will take it out on Helen.

What happened with Ed and Oliver?

I think Shula has told the truth because she is very churchy and straight laced. Very out of character otherwise.

Oliver offered to let ed carry on using his land and suggested he get a small beef herd as there's no money in milk

And ed can use his barn for the wedding reception and thingy will provide a few chairs from grey gables. Ed is made up

Oh I've just found out something - and its probably what all that talk about the toy farm was about. Apparently early on in the show they used to keep a toy farm, and each toy sheep, or cow or pig represented so many sheep or cows or pigs on Brookfield. It helped the writers not suddenly triple of halve the numbers from one week to the next.

For those who want to know how Knob showed his true vileness to Jim, it was at a meeting of the locals to do a PR job for Berrow Farm and Jim asked awkward questions and was literally SNARLED at by knob at the end of it. (I can't remember if anyone else was there).

I was also thinking Lillian could live in a cottage. But she and Kate together even better.

I think Shula would be uncomfortable about lunch if she told the truth (because she has "betrayed" Rob and will shatter Oliver's belief) or if she lied (because she would feel guilty and not want enjoy a jolly lunch pretending nothing had happened). So, they've left us guessing
