When listening again today (I missed he first few mins last night) I could just HEAR the miniPasbeaucoup in her bath saying ' And don't come back'. Sad thing is unless she is from an acting dynasty she's unlikely to get a speaking part in TA in future.

Having now heard JD in radio, she WAS good. But the broadcaster was naff IMO - so unrealistically amateurish sounding.a reflection maybe of how local radio is viewed at the beeb?

RE-Feedback, I heard a recent 'flier' and wonder f SOC will appear at all. Only mention was of the controller woman. CUP, don't let SOC intimidate you - use that old ploy when faced by 'annoying' men - think of him in his PJs, or even the scud. Any brain bleach left, folks?

IME local radio presenters aren't trying to give interviewees the Paxman treatment, they know that all the friends & family will be listening and it would be counterproductive to make it sound like the local radio station doesn't care or looks down on local people.
