Ohhh just listened to two weeks omnibuses almost back to back. What a tizz old Ambridge is in.

BOOP: love the fact the Hellin/Rob has properly risen to the surface and this 'illegitimate' child storyline is being played out. However- gaps in my listening mean I'm not sure if we know it is definitely his? Why is he insisting to her it isn't, if we all know it is? I quite like Hellin (I sympathise greatly with her struggle with ED and pregnancy and think she's just rather nice) and would love to see her get rid of Rob and his controlling bollocksy nonsense.

My prediction: Justin Elliot is dodgy, Matt was mixed up in it, it's going to come out and that's why Brookfield will fall through, Matt did a bunk before he would bring Lillian down with him- tiger and pusscat will be eventually reunited.

Putting on flak jacket, but I don't like Matt. He is manipulative, creepy and devious.

I am stunned however that the conveyancing, title searches, property enquiry searches for Brookfield are going so swimmingly well no one ever has to mention them. Bears no resemblance to any farm sale I've dealt with. Possibly conveyancing is another string to the Archers' health fairy's bow.

We don't know that it is his and in the end he may turn out to be what he seems at surface level- a nice guy albeit a bit intense.

What I like about Matt is his humour - some of his lines can be very witty. He IS a wide boy and he's been in prison for fraud and he had shown considerable aggression at times. So, no, not a nice man really though he has a kind side to him as well. IRL he's not somebody I'd choose to have in my life certainly but for a radio soap he's quite the asset. BRING BACK TIGER.

Re the conveyancing for Brookfield -the initial purchase of land was fairly recent, as Dan was a tenant farmer when the series started, and all the other purchases were after that date. The transfer to David and Ruth was more recent and I don't recall any hitches with either the searching or conveyancing, so going by that I can't see any reason for there to be any hitches.
