AAAARRRGGGG.
They cannot get rid of Tiger.
I absolutely refuse to allow it.
He's always entertaining and a welcome antidote to "normal for Ambridge".
Chuck RichJohn back to his mum and Eamon (obviously neglectful, as it only took the Archers about 6 weeks to spot his dyslexia whereas they'd missed it for flipping years - amazing or what?), let Justin Elliott come to his just desserts (creepy pantomime villain) and forget about the chap Adam is flirting with. All this "new blood" is at the expense of established and popular characters, or by rewriting/recasting established ones. Tom, Tony and Pip have voice and personality transplants, Hayley, Mike and Vicki are despatched to Brum, Dan to the Army, Kirsty to wherever and Spencer is ditched off air.
After minimal agricultural content for years we now have overload on various types of robotic milking. God, it's boring and could be dealt with in a quick summary "went to X where they do Y - gave us a lot to think about."
On the plus side. welcome return of Kate and don't mind Carol. Psycho Rob is waring up nicely again after almost lulling me into a false sense of security. The conversation with Pat and Helen was so badly scripted though - you could hear poor Pat Gallimore trying her very best with the pregnant pauses, but it was dire.
