OK, this was posted on another site on January 1st 2014

'Based upon a letter in the DM from a reader who alleged they had overheard "an obnoxiously loud member of TA production team" in a Birmingham restaurant. Believe it at your peril.

Rob is revealed to be homophobic.
Jill will move into Brookfield.
The Grundy's to move back to Grange Farm.
Tom will take over the running of Bridge Farm after Tony has an accident.
Lower Loxley may burn down, but that has yet to be decided upon.
Lynda is to stage Blithe Spirit next Christmas.

Or not, as the case may be...'

How much more will come to pass, I wonder?

Thanks, Zero - you can't think of any other scenarios either?

Vicky has had her moments though. If she was there & Ed rowed with Mike I can imagine her flying to Mike's defence.

I'd certainly rather it was Roy v Kate (& that Kate gets her comeuppance) - followed by Jennifer's home truths & Hayley's decision...

(I'm still not listening routinely - I read pseudo's thread & think about it & then listen to 2 or 3 at once so I haven't heard Ed's heartbreaker yet & don't know exactly what's going on)

BoreOfWhabylon · 09/02/2015 22:33

Oooh! Found this on another TA site - is from Daily Mail weekend magazine, apparently

Quote:

The eligible older men of Ambridge are getting their suits out of mothballs, pulling in their stomachs, and fancying their chances with the widow Tregorran on St. Valentine's Day.
If Jennifer's suspicions are right, one of them will be in the cold, cold ground by St Wilgefortis's Day.
As the old boys prepare for the dance of death, Rob unleashes his inner devil on a hunt saboteur- and Shula sees the whole dreadful incident.
Ed, in need of a miracle, gets some salvation from Oliver, Pip dreams of tractors, Neil and Tom have a showdown and David feels pulled back to his past by the vision and spirit of Old Dan Archer.

Bluestocking · 09/02/2015 22:35

Cor blimey, Bore, that's hot stuff! Don't let anyone on that other TA thread hear us, they go mad if they think anyone's spoilering.

BoreOfWhabylon · 09/02/2015 22:39

Mum's the word Bluestocking!

OP posts:
ZeroFunDame · 09/02/2015 22:41

Oh my - that all sounds fun!Grin

Except the dance of death.

BoreOfWhabylon · 09/02/2015 22:48

I thought the DOD sounded quite fun, actually - but then, I don't get out much Grin

ZeroFunDame · 09/02/2015 23:05

I wondered on the other thread if competitive birdwatching might not lead to a bad ending. But Joe and Bert are probably first in line for shuffling. Maybe this will be it.Sad

CuttedUpPear · 09/02/2015 23:17

V happy to think of Ed getting some salvation Smile

AllMimsyWereTheBorogoves · 10/02/2015 07:41

Jennifer has her knife into Carol, though, and it will probably all prove to be a hilarious misunderstanding in the end! Hmm

Thanks, Bore, that was v. exciting. (I also lead a very quiet life.)

stilllearnin · 10/02/2015 07:51

Wowzers! But then it is the Mail. It would be understandable for rob to lose his temper in a way. It used to happen loads before the ban. My friend goes on hunts and I am anti and just can't understand it. We talk about it quite amiably, but neither one of us understands the other's point if view. I find it more odd than any other divide I have! Anyway. Point being that do you think it'd mean much to Helen?

ZeroFunDame · 10/02/2015 08:23

It'll mean much to people who suddenly find themselves questioning Helen's wellbeing.

If Shula witnesses Rob's dark side (having been a victim of DV herself) she might start to take an interest.

Icimoi · 10/02/2015 09:08

I'm sure Shula would feel it necessary at least to talk to Pat and maybe Tom. What would be interesting is if she tells Helen and how Helen reacts.

Re Neil and Tom: I wondered about the fact that Tom said they would be equal partners re the pigs, rather than that Neil would be in charge. Neither Neil nor Susan seems to have picked up on that, but maybe that's what the "showdown" is about. If it doesn't go the right way, there'll be no more chilli for Neil Sad

stilllearnin · 10/02/2015 10:25

Ah yes, I see, another piece of the jigsaw that can set off concerns. Pat is about the only person I think who witnesses any amount of Helen/ rob interactions, at least in their home - she has her concerns on a number of fronts.

I want a harmonious Tom and Neil but it is unrealistic for him to slot back in after leaving them all in the lurch.

AllMimsyWereTheBorogoves · 11/02/2015 11:37

*More spoilers - real, real spoilers, I think, for once, so do beware! Also, please, please don't take them back to the main thread as some people (not least Olivia) absolutely hate spoilers.

I don't know if the missing week is a BBC attempt to keep something under wraps but from the Radio Times site I have managed to get one of them. I'll add more as I track them down.

So will the "lost" week be Feedback week?

ZeroFunDame · 11/02/2015 11:49

When was the last divorce?

David is on a quest - for an outside milking thingy?

Hayley makes a decision - to come back?

Lilian can't believe her eyes - she sees Tiger? or ... supposedly-dead Paul???

And Jazzer is back!!!

Great stuff Mimsy!

OP posts:
ZeroFunDame · 11/02/2015 12:10

Yes, thank you Mims.

Wonder if Scruff is to be found in the sinkhole.

It does look intriguingly like a parting of the ways at Brookfield. Perhaps implacable Ruth will pack a bag or two and Pip will receive a rapid Brookfield promotion? Or ...

stilllearnin · 11/02/2015 12:14

Oh love these! Scruff is in the sinkhole I tell you! I am hoping the adam thing is a red herring. Is he really so insecure that his head can be turned by anyone who fancies him. I watched cucumber with my ds Blush the depiction of gay men is getting pretty boring (I know it goes on but some characters that don't shag anything that comes into the line of sight would be refreshing)

BoreOfWhabylon · 11/02/2015 19:39

Scruff in the sinkhole! Yes! Excellent! Grin

OP posts:
TheMShip · 11/02/2015 21:28

Answer to Rob's prayers could be about the hunt incident?

AllMimsyWereTheBorogoves · 13/02/2015 10:28

OK, the missing week has now been filled in so here's the full list for the next few weeks. Warning from my post above still stands!

I have great hopes that Ruth will go off to High Dudgeon instead of Hadly Haugh and we will never hear her again. I hope she takes Pip with her.

26 February Things are still tricky at Brookfield, and Rob cannot believe his eyes.

stilllearnin · 13/02/2015 10:36

Shock I cannot believe my eyes!

Sorry I just felt left out. Grin

ZeroFunDame · 13/02/2015 11:25

Things must be pretty serious if Usha is making her biannual appearance.Grin

Although there are so many divorces pending - Brookfield, Shula/Alistair, Jolene/Kenton - and so much property to divide that she should have a good run over several months.

Icimoi · 13/02/2015 13:41

Come to think about it, if the Dopeys are due to move at the end of March they would normally expect to exchange contracts around a month beforehand, wouldn't they? So that makes sense with the last week in February being crisis point.

It's looking as if this is what all David's uncertainty and harking back to old milking round days has been leading up to. I'd still like the issue to be resolved by a combination of the Save campaign and the famous sinkhole, but with any luck that'll come round later: when Ruth has stropped off proclaiming that Deeavid will regret it with a dual carriageway built through his land, the whole thing will be shelved and he'll be able to put two fingers up. Though I have a nasty feeling that that would coincide with Heatherpet S'ingOTMC and Roooth coming back and sobbing all over Deeavid and everything carrying on as before.
