Tom will take over the running of Bridge Farm after Tony has an accident.

Lynda is to stage Blithe Spirit next Christmas.

Rob has a lot on his mind - how to use Charlie's tryst with Adam to his own advantage? Or how to get Helen to bend to his will? Or does it mean that at long last Jess is going to turn up? Will Lynda be involved in some way?

It's Pat's birthday next week, apparently.

Now that I've heard the NYE episodes a third time I'm guessing Phoebe will be embarrassed when Pip's photos of her with Johnny "looking like a couple" are spread all over the modern equivalent of Facebook.

16 January. It is double trouble for Rob and Lilian, but Fallon and Burns are on a high.

18 January. Helen is anxious, and Rob is defensive.
19 January Pip is determined, and there is bad news for Ed.
20 January Phoebe has a bad day, and Ed is in a state.
21 January Susan loses patience, and Tony makes progress.
22 January Lynda tells David what she thinks. Meanwhile, it's all a bit embarrassing at the Bull.
23 January The villagers are dancing, but there is a horrible shock for Lilian.

25 January Adam and Charlie have a chat, and Lillian receives some solace at The Bull.
26 January Lilian confides in Jolene, and things seem to be going well for Emma.

I refuse to acknowledge what is happening with Matt - lalala, can't hear you!
And what's with the dancing references? Ambridge does Strictly?

I wonder if the Ed news is where they'll do the topical insert about milk prices. Maybe they're not bothering with Dopeys because they know it's going to fall through for some other reason.

I'm just clinging to the faint hope that Lilian making a move on 5th February has something to do with tracking Matt down and dragging him back to Ambridge.

I do hope we're not going to be treated to more scenes of Lil sobbing damply all over Jolene.

I guess there will be some mis-direction in the spoilers. (I'd like the motherly comfort for Phoebe to mean the reappearance of Hayley ...)

I'm sure the money taken from the safe wouldn't ruin Lillian - but Matt might have emptied their accounts as well.

It would seem a bit ridiculous for them to repeat any of the AmEx story, or indeed the Matt the fraudster TA story. Matt was absolutely at his best when he gave James that little pep talk about Leonie's pregnancy. I would have liked to see more of that side of him. Not sure they'll bother with another gangsta plot. So I guess he's gone.

Shot straight over here after your pointer, Mimsy, in case it was good news. I don't like it at all.

Matt and Lilian are my favourite characters. He sacrificed so much for her safety in AmEx, (even though it was a totally daft story) and showed his love for her. It's just not fair and doesn't make sense.

I've gone back to agreeing with 'Sack the Sock' and I was trying SO hard to be optimistic.

I'm rather looking forward to the showdown on the dance floor and Rob getting annoyed. In fact, there seems to be quite a lot of dancing but not for Lillian I fear.

All the dance floor references plus Kenton & Jolene leaving Valentine's planning to Fallon - is she going to set up some kind of ballroom dancing classes?

Just seen on Facebook that James Cartwright, PC Burns, is doing a Facebook Q & A after Wednesday's episode. Does that mean something dramatic for him? There's nothing in the spoiler but these things aren't usually set up for no reason, are they?

Oh please, yes you're right. It can't mean Kate which is what I thought.

Of course it could mean Kate being characteristically, clumsily un-motherly, while sincerely believing she's being the perfect parent.

I presume Joe will be providing a clue to the mystery milkman. Though I guess they'll string it out a bit longer - what else would Jennifer and Jill have to form a snooping committee about?

Interesting. Let's hope Jennifer being triumphant is something about digging up the dirt on Justin and his company. And the next development in the Rob/Helen story is intriguing: I'm assuming Rob losing his temper is going to be either the DNA business, Helen wanting to have more to do with Ambridge Organics or the Valentine's dance. But Rob surprising Helen and having the answer to a prayer? Can't work that one out.

Rob has an answer to prayer, now that's very intriguing. I shall be furious if it turns out the baby isn't his. Maybe it will be Helen saying 'I agree you shouldn't do a DNA test and we'll just have to pay Jess the money even though everybody knows you aren't the father' she's nearly daft enough.

And Hayley making a decision! She wouldn't get back with Roy would she? Hope not. Maybe she decides to move back to Ambridge so Phoebe can live with her and Abbie. Any spare cottages about?

What else could it be?

I'm guessing Roy v Kate rather than Mike v poor, lovely Ed who's already resigned to his fate.

Unless Eddie goes to remonstrate with Mike?

But if "nasty" means unconstrained and lacking in dignity it will definitely be Kate!
