OK, this was posted on another site on January 1st 2014

'Based upon a letter in the DM from a reader who alleged they had overheard "an obnoxiously loud member of TA production team" in a Birmingham restaurant. Believe it at your peril.

Rob is revealed to be homophobic.
Jill will move into Brookfield.
The Grundy's to move back to Grange Farm.
Tom will take over the running of Bridge Farm after Tony has an accident.
Lower Loxley may burn down, but that has yet to be decided upon.
Lynda is to stage Blithe Spirit next Christmas.

Or not, as the case may be...'

How much more will come to pass, I wonder?

Maybe Rob calls Pat and Tony? Although can't work out why/how they'd involve Kirsty late at night.

spiker · 29/03/2016 20:04

I just slunk over from the other thread...I've started lurking on this one recently I couldn't stop myself but I have to close it straight after reading as I have a Fear of getting confused and posting on wrong one.

Gruach · 29/03/2016 20:08

I wondered how K might become involved - since she's hardly likely to be sitting around the Bridge Farm kitchen table drinking a late night cup of cocoa.

But Rob is quite likely to confiscate Helen's phone soon. (Or mobile reception might be poor if it's the night he drags her away for her birthday treat.) In which case the only number she might remember well enough to call on a landline could be her parents - asking them to contact Kirsty for her.

Stickerrocks · 29/03/2016 21:17

Temporarily got Fathers for Justice confused in my head with that strange internet group who wear the white & black facemasks. He would be very good at doing the voice overs for them.

BoreOfWhabylon · 29/03/2016 22:28

Hellin's birthday is Saturday 16th April, don't thnk we've had the spoilers for that yet, have we?

selsigfach · 29/03/2016 23:52

Ick, I'm going to have Knob nightmares snooping on here so late!

Gruach · 30/03/2016 10:06

Had another think ... (Because nothing else matters right now.)

It would be unacceptable for SOC to dead a Bridge Farmer. And I'm not convinced that murder could happen in Ambridge at all. But there is a kind and helpful friend ready and willing to put herself out for Helen. She's sure to get in Rob's way.

MrsArthurShappey · 30/03/2016 17:02
Shock

Gruach don't even think that!!!

PseudoBadger · 30/03/2016 17:03

I am concerned about family annihilation Sad

BoreOfWhabylon · 30/03/2016 17:09

Mystic Bore predicts that he will go to jail for DV/coercive control.

Although he should go dahn for murdering Freda.

OP posts:
glowfrog · 30/03/2016 17:21

If Rob kills anyone, I think I will stop listening for a long while.

It just doesn't seem right as a message to send and I don't think WA would be happy with it, either. They would want to say that you CAN get help and you CAN get out.

Because you can, though it is hard and dangerous.

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 30/03/2016 17:25

I agree with glowfrog. I wouldn't mind if it turned out he was convicted of the manslaughter of Freda, if Stefan turned up again and informed against him. But he mustn't kill Helen, Henry or any woman. Sad I want him in prison for coercive control.

BoreOfWhabylon · 30/03/2016 17:28

Well, in the WH nterview SOC talked about having "legal advisers" re CC and there is also the superb spoiler upthread re hiring an actor to play a lawyer, so I really think that's the route they'll go down.

OP posts:
Gruach · 30/03/2016 17:38

He'd certainly have to do a lot more (to Helen) than he's done already for prison to be a possibility. It's all very well bringing in new legislation but - without more - it would be a first offence on a fairly minor charge.

Although any conviction would be satisfyingly humiliating.

I agree family annihilation looks possible - but ... John.

GypsyFl0ss · 30/03/2016 17:40

I had a complete RL/ Archers interface moment today when a woman said to me that her husband doesn't believe the rules, for anything, apply to him.

I think something will happen to endanger the baby's life/ Helen during labour that he is responsible for and that will be thing that brings him to justice. I really don't believe there will be a murder/ wholesale family death. There just can't be.

BoreOfWhabylon · 30/03/2016 17:45

Yes, something awful will happen but not, I think, murder.

OP posts:
Gruach · 30/03/2016 17:53

So are we now thinking the new face is Bruce rather than SOK? And that we'll have to wait for the birthday treat before anything actually happens?

But then - what could Helen and Kirsty be active about on the 3rd and 4th?

I was clinging to the thought of the birth happening soon.

BoreOfWhabylon · 30/03/2016 17:58

I don't knoooowwww Gruach.

I really can't take much more of this.

When is 'chilling consequences' episode?

OP posts:
GypsyFl0ss · 30/03/2016 18:06

I think that means Rob is going to take his displeasure about the hosp birth out on Henwee. And that most definitely won't be " awwrite".

SeekEveryEveryKnownHidingPlace · 30/03/2016 18:12

think chilling consequences is tomorrow isn't it?

SeekEveryEveryKnownHidingPlace · 30/03/2016 18:14

Just read back - tonight Clarrie and Dan's guest. Tomorrow 'Henry is in trouble'.

BoreOfWhabylon · 30/03/2016 18:15

Thanks Seek.

AugustaFinkNottle · 30/03/2016 18:20

It's going to be the usual sequence of using Thursday's episode to build up to a big crisis on Friday. I wish they'd be less predictable.

LowDudgeon · 30/03/2016 18:22

Could Helen kill Rob? (By accident or design)

I'd be quite satisfied with that ending. Then the lawyer would be for her defence.

BoreOfWhabylon · 30/03/2016 18:30

I think they might want to keep him alive so that he can pop up from time to time over the next few decades.

He's too good to kill off, really.
