Re Brookfield - the intention was to keep it in the family. If David and Ruth didn't want to farm it would have been sold and inheritance split 4 ways. Don't see why that should be any different if they sell now (although they should be remunerated for work done on farm). Phil insisted on leaving it this way because he saw how dedicated David was to Brookfield - not to farming in general.
