Ha ha. I knew, as soon as Lyndy said the other day that they were getting the marquee so far in advance of the naming ceremony, that there would be a weather-related issue. They were saying on the radio this morning how in RL the first half of September has been the driest for ages.

Indeed. Was there some collusion between two Radio 4 programmes? I immediately thought of the sink hole when the (highly unlikely) rain descended; before 5.pm today I wouldn't have connected the two.

I enjoyed this episode - it's good to be reminded that it's not all shagging in a stableblock. I liked hearing "work" and didn't even mind the milk economy exposition.

I rather zoned out the milk lesson from Ed - I don't listen to get lessons in agricultural practices, I want lust, & scandal!!!
