How about we immortalise Schrodinger's Baby in the opening paragraph?

How long will this thread last DadDadDad?

TOWtNS You see this is why I was hopeless at maths... I forgot the other half of the equation! Yes of course F&L are the same generation as Kate. Thank god I don't have to apply for university nowadays...

(And I was so pleased I'd managed to even talk about them without getting into the impenetrable complications of degrees of cousindom... Someone explained it in the last thread; I understood it for precisely as long as I was reading it.)

Freddie walked in asking for an item of laundry just as E was in tears giving Roy the old heave ho. Roy left hastily and E put the locket in an envelope, told Freddie it was the spare key to the filing cabinet and told him to chase after Roy and give it to him.
Freddie went all the way to Roy's house and, on arrival, the envelope was open.
I'm sure any teenager would have worked it out then if he hadn't already. He had also seen them springing apart guiltily before that.

He might have witnessed the smearing of the antiseptic or the steaminess in the stables but we don't know that. Perhaps Lily did and has been struck dumb as a consequence........

What I'm not clear about is whether Phoebe was in the room when Freddie delivered the locket - and what Hayley and Freddie might have said to each other if the episode hadn't ended then!

JessieMcJessie · 16/09/2014 02:09

Elizabeth converted the "old dairy" into hotel room style accommodation for wedding guests. She and Roy stayed in one of those rooms after Loxfest. I imagine it to be separate from but close to the house, probably near Cranford Crystal's stable.

ppeatfruit · 16/09/2014 07:48

Yes Jessie I remember that too Grin.

I was waiting for the list of GF free, vegan ,veggie, baking the country bumpkins will have to make for the posh Londoners Grin but no carrots? WTF !! Even I eat carrots and my way of eating is a bit high maintenance Grin

ppeatfruit · 16/09/2014 07:51

And did anyone catch Linda mentioning that Leonie has fallen out with one of the 'guide parents'. Grin BTW I hadn't heard them either so Jim is not the only one!

ppeatfruit · 16/09/2014 07:52

Sorry I didn't mean GF free of course I meant GF !!

BuildYourOwnSnowman · 16/09/2014 08:45

I didn't hear josh last night - has he become more natural?

trevortrevorslattery · 16/09/2014 09:51

Ah when the continuity person (or it might have been the programme summary on Iplayer) said "where's Josh got to" I assumed he had fallen down the sinkhole! Grin

I would love to see Ifty and Hayley have a fling after she throws Roy out.
Erk to the PP who dreamt of Roy - poor you!

BuildYourOwnSnowman · 16/09/2014 10:07

Lizzie doesn't deserve ifty!

In fact, I'm hoping Hayley kicks Roy out and lizzie takes him in under pressure and is stuck with him!

OddFodd · 16/09/2014 10:45

Lovely shiny new thread Pseudo (even if it's likely to be short lived!). Yes, I totally agree BYOS, she really doesn't deserve Ifty. I want both of them to be the subject of village gossip and for their lives to be miserable for at least a while :o

I loved Hayley's parting line to her, 'Isn't all this enough for you?' Brilliant.

BuildYourOwnSnowman · 16/09/2014 11:07

I don't think anything is ever enough for lizzie (xref her strop over Brookfield).

ppeatfruit · 16/09/2014 14:43

NO I'd forgotten that strop over Brookfield BYOS I was very surprised by her 'entitled' attitude considering LL. Yeah she deserves polyp ants pissing her off Grin but do F and L?

PetulaGordino · 16/09/2014 15:18

i know that's a typo ppeat but Grin at "polyp ants"

BuildYourOwnSnowman · 16/09/2014 15:18

I think she's screwed them up already so a few years with Roy before they flee the nest should be manageable

trevortrevorslattery · 16/09/2014 17:05

"polyp ants" Grin
I hope Freddie sprinkles a few of those bite-y little varmints into Roy's work trousers in revenge

ppeatfruit · 16/09/2014 17:27

[grin Grin

ppeatfruit · 16/09/2014 17:37

Oh dear ,I was up at 5a.m. that's my excuse Grin

cheminotte · 16/09/2014 17:47

sounds uncomfortable!

unitarian · 16/09/2014 17:58

But Freddie isn't going to flee the nest for any length of time. It's going to be HIS nest.

I think we'll soon see him taking a great interest in the running of the estate.

Minimammoth · 16/09/2014 18:19

Forgive me but I am way behind, trying to catch up. So does no one else know about Lizroy, other than Freddo? And does no one else know about Jessupduff, only Hellrob?

BuildYourOwnSnowman · 16/09/2014 18:26

I think he will flee the best until he gets his inheritance - I assumed at 21? Then he can banish lizzie to the seedy love nest

Or did Nigel put a clause in that lizzie had to manage it or something?

LillianGish · 16/09/2014 18:46

Excellent point Unitarian (I don't think that's the first time I've posted that).

BuildYourOwnSnowman · 16/09/2014 19:00

Maybe Freddie will turf lizzie out and she will try to stake a claim on Brookfield!!

BuildYourOwnSnowman · 16/09/2014 19:04

Oh no. Not the John tregorran storyline. I was hoping it had died

ZeroSomeGameThingy · 16/09/2014 19:06

Goodness - how on earth can Jenny be worried about embarrassment in the village?
