New thread for hopefully an exciting Sunday episode. Poor Hayley.

OP posts:
CuttedUpPear · 13/09/2014 07:48

I really hope that Hayley doesn't try to keep it all under her hat.

I am hoping for a cathartic Sunday episode where Vickoi has Hayley warmly clutched against her bosom while Roy trudges off with that executive suitcase to beg the Grundys for a bunk up in their shed.

Don't forget your charger, Roy.

Eastpoint · 13/09/2014 08:16

Elizabeth will feel so ashamed when she has to explain to her family what's happened.

PseudoBadger · 13/09/2014 09:07

Roy will have to bust open the museum piece padlock on the Cider Shed and stay in there.

OP posts:
ZeroSomeGameThingy · 13/09/2014 09:29

Now why would Roy need the cider shed when there's already a beautifully set up van masquerading as a des res sitting empty on Shula's land - ever since someone moved on to a flat and out of the scripts? Grin

PetulaGordino · 13/09/2014 09:34

Thread is nearly full after two weeks!

unitarian · 13/09/2014 10:28

I expect Hayley to try to save her marriage which will probably mean them moving to Brum with M&V. Elizabeth will get on with her life at LL.

unitarian · 13/09/2014 10:34

Posted too soon.
If I were her I think I would demand a massive payout from Lizzie and buy out Roy from his half of the house then he can go to Brum/Canada.

DadDadDad · 13/09/2014 13:29

Yes, Petula, thread still running at 72 posts per day, which is highest rate since records began, apart from the April 2014 spike. (See my post on 11 September)

ppeatfruit · 13/09/2014 13:31

YES unitarian Haven't you got enough without taking my husband as well? - a brilliant line- and in the background a peacock squawked to add to the vision of the beautiful Lower Loxley !!

TheOnlyOliviaMumsnet · 13/09/2014 14:04

BUt wasn't the last line of the episode "where do we go from here?"
She is going to forgive him isn't she??

I didn't hear the peacock but it was brilliant yes.

It is SO good atm.

trevortrevorslattery · 13/09/2014 18:35

Ha I loved jim's consternation when Linda said she was going to add a few lines of Larkin to her christening speech Grin

cheminotte · 13/09/2014 18:38

I think Roy said that and Hayley said "I have no idea" or similar.

BoreOfWhabylon · 13/09/2014 18:42

Yes, I think Hayley will forgive him. Roy will leave LL to manage Grey Gables for Carolide and Ollie Foxbreath and it will all be brushed under the carpet.

(thought I'd better put in an appearance so that I make it onto DadDadDad's spreadshit Grin )

ZeroSomeGameThingy · 13/09/2014 18:49

Yes - someone obviously had some fun throwing Larkin into the mix.

The way things look at the moment my guess is that Hayley will agree to a second chance - provided they get far away from LL. Sell up, new jobs... Phoebe either goes with or stays with J and B. (I'm thinking they might send her to South Africa for university...)

Not sure how that would work for Brenda's inheritance though.

DadDadDad · 13/09/2014 19:17

"Spreadshit"? How very dare you!

Just to be clear, Bore, you do know I'm not recording individual posts don't you? That would be crossing from nerdy to creepy...

PseudoBadger · 13/09/2014 19:22

Don't worry Dad, 'spreadshit' is MN vernacular.

OP posts:
BoreOfWhabylon · 13/09/2014 19:31

Sorry Dad

HumphreyCobbler · 13/09/2014 20:55

i think Lizzie just popped up in Doctor Who. Her voice did anyway!

DadDadDad · 13/09/2014 20:58

That's all right, Bore, now run along and play nicely.

Actually, bringing this back on topic, Charlie Thomas is someone who literally would have a spread shit spreadsheet. "It's the way forward, Adam. I can analyse exactly how much manure we've utilised over each crop cycle and optimise for soil fertility and drainage." Grin

ZeroSomeGameThingy · 13/09/2014 22:06

Who did you think she was Humphrey? (I didn't notice her.) Dr Who was stupendous.

Wonder if Dead Ringers could do an Archers/Who mash-up....

HumphreyCobbler · 13/09/2014 22:08

She was the voice of the boy in the barn's mother.

HumphreyCobbler · 13/09/2014 22:09

I thought it very compelling but I am a little confused Zero. The Archers timeline is a little easier to follow Grin

ZeroSomeGameThingy · 13/09/2014 22:15

Oh! (About Elizabeth)

I like the dark, timey wimey episodes best - very happy tonight.

HumphreyCobbler · 13/09/2014 22:42

It was good. And scary. I really really like him as the Doctor.
