New thread for hopefully an exciting Sunday episode. Poor Hayley.

OP posts:
BuildYourOwnSnowman · 10/09/2014 14:21

I think the confrontation is imminent - especially if Roy is sacked

PetulaGordino · 10/09/2014 14:26

i agree it has to be. too many people know things

BuildYourOwnSnowman · 10/09/2014 14:39

I can't believe they thought it wouldn't come out. Roy is an idiot if he hasn't started thinking about what to say to Hayley.

I hope it's tonight as I can't listen for the next three nights!!!

PetulaGordino · 10/09/2014 14:42

given how recent dramatic episodes have played out if it's this week it will sadly be tomorrow or friday i think

BuildYourOwnSnowman · 10/09/2014 14:58

Yes - tonight will probably be Roy trying to talk liz round and her being her doggedly myopic self. Maybe he will get nasty and she will realise he won't go without a fight.

Then the confrontation will be Friday knowing my luck!!

trevortrevorslattery · 10/09/2014 15:01

Ha ha here is Roy

BuildYourOwnSnowman · 10/09/2014 15:36

Oooh, sexy!

ppeatfruit · 10/09/2014 15:37

Stiiearnin i do that too ( In the evening I'm watching Upstairs Downstairs and then Lillie so I Listen Again the next day, or hear the p.m. repeat, and I always read what you lot on here have said first! it's fun!).

BasketzatDawn · 10/09/2014 16:22

I think I heard mention earlier on R$ that Hayley is 'on' tonight. It leaves me with a serious dilemma - do I stay and hear TA or do I go out to the knitting group? Smile I like the idea that the new GS of Ambridge (no I mean the baby, not RichJohn) may be called after the patron saint of Glasgow. I think Jazzer will be thrilled.

Re-Brendur, she can't demand that her father and step ma stay in THAT house till they get carried out. M and V and Beth can live wherever they like. I assume there will be a three-way split when the time comes, but who knows what Vicki will decide. Anyway, Brendur is shagging a rich Russian and has her own well-paid job with lunch breaks!! so doesn't really need her dad's dosh.

Thanks for the info on delivering calves. I knew someone would know stuff.Smile

BasketzatDawn · 10/09/2014 16:23

That should be R4 as in Radio 4.

PetulaGordino · 10/09/2014 16:24

can you force persuade knitting group to listen to the archers?

PetulaGordino · 10/09/2014 17:03

there are some nice pics on the archers facebook page of the SWs on a longterm planning day on a farm

BuildYourOwnSnowman · 10/09/2014 17:07

Brenda may not need the money but doesn't mean she won't feel hurt not to be consulted on what was ultimately her inheritance! It's also the family home and that always creates ructions

I do think that if Mike moves to brum he will be dead within a year.

And whilst he is a good dad is he really stay at home parent material? Can he even cook?

I don't think vicky realises quite how difficult this could be for mike. I found it quite sad when he was telling jazzer there would be some green around.

ZeroSomeGameThingy · 10/09/2014 17:33

Oh god yes - did he say "a bit of green..."? It hit me right in the chest.

Agree he wouldn't live long away from Ambridge.

And I think Brenda might be more than hurt. Didn't she kick up quite a fuss about Willow Farm being divided to accomodate Roy and family? Just as Hayley was about to be prematurely delivered? Roy was surprisingly robust in his response iirc.

BasketzatDawn · 10/09/2014 19:04

I agree she could be mighty pissed off. BUT she can't tell her parent/s where they can live. And selling up and moving into a house they buy with the money is not really spending 'her' inheritance but just re-investing elsewhere.

I didn't go to KG - got caught up(failing) to buy bras online. And now I'm quite tired, ds has gone for a walk and not come back. This could be a problem. And now the phone is ringing aargh! Anyway at KG there will be lots of talk and acrimony about indy ref stuff, and I can' be bovvered.

So .....

BuildYourOwnSnowman · 10/09/2014 19:05

Oh dear. I kind of feel sorry for Roy

She's screwed him over big time (in more ways than one)

PetulaGordino · 10/09/2014 19:08

two words

constructive

dismissal

BuildYourOwnSnowman · 10/09/2014 19:08

Gosh - lizzie has a way with words. She manages to make herself sound so selfish so easily

GypsyFloss · 10/09/2014 19:10

I wonder if Roy will go for constructive dismissal?

BuildYourOwnSnowman · 10/09/2014 19:10

So mrs pargeter - after the success of loxfest what were your grounds for sacking mr tucker?

Well we became a little too close and my children have me an ultimatum and I have a heart condition and poor me, the whole world hates me

cheminotte · 10/09/2014 19:11

Roy needs a compromise agreement methinks

BuildYourOwnSnowman · 10/09/2014 19:15

Oh man - Roy is managing to be totally truthful without actually telling the truth.

Hayley knows - why not spit it out so I don't miss it all!!!!

GypsyFloss · 10/09/2014 19:17

Aghhh Hayley. Don't let him away with it that easily!
I wonder whether this will be an exodus for whole Tucker clan to Brum?

PetulaGordino · 10/09/2014 19:17

sorry byos, it's going to be tomorrow or friday i'm sure Sad

what a pair of toads they are

TheSilveryPussycat · 10/09/2014 19:20

I kept waiting for Hayley to say "is it anything to do with... this?" (produces locket).
