New thread for hopefully an exciting Sunday episode. Poor Hayley.

OP posts:

Then Freddie and Lilly can rule alone, with Jill moved in to take care of them.
Thus leaving a spare room for Ruth's wobbly mum at Brookfield.

hagarthorne · 05/09/2014 15:30

Hayley will be all right once she has cashed in the life insurance. She can marry that policeman, they are far more suited than him and Fallon. They can take in foster children- they have excellent credentials and Henry will be put into care any day, it will be nice for him to be near his grandparents when his mum has hanged herself.

hagarthorne · 05/09/2014 15:33

And Fallon can settle for Jazzer which she should have done years ago.

The end.

AllMimsyWereTheBorogoves · 05/09/2014 15:35

Irian, thanks for the invitation in your first line, but not today. Smile As to why you weren't informed about the rampant infidelity, they were all clearly waiting until your back was turned.

hagarthorne, you have a lovely cheery view of Helen's future. Clearly there is also a doom on Bridge Farm. Grin

hagarthorne · 05/09/2014 15:37

Yes, that's why poor little Henry has to go into care. Pat and Tony's record of child rearing being what it is.

PetulaGordino · 05/09/2014 15:48

i LOVE the idea of freddie and lily in charge of lower loxley, never marrying or moving away, ruling it into their dotage, bickering wtih each other as it falls to ruin

it would be like molly keane's time after time

hagarthorne · 05/09/2014 15:54

yes, wouldn't it be lovely, and seeing Nigel's ghost more and more often as the long grey years pass by.

ErrolTheDragon · 05/09/2014 15:58

I listened to the podcast this afternoon, clearly wasn't concentrating as missed that the 'stranger' was Jess and that she was expecting - just vaguely heard some odd random chat with a woman who thought she looked fat.

But with the nasty manipulations by Rob (FGS Helen Henry is your son), Freddie's outburst and a second Jess cliffhanger in one week, there was more than enough even without poor Hayley's doings.

BuildYourOwnSnowman · 05/09/2014 17:07

Adult twins that live together like that creep me out. Particularly identical twins who dress alike as adults.

RocknRollNerd · 05/09/2014 17:11

Oh I love these flights of fancy - do we need an Archers fanfic thread Grin. Just no Jazzer and Plod slash please!

I really enjoyed last night's episode it was very well done. I was also very prooud of myself for spotting Jess straight away. I am very very bad at faces so never spot characters in shows (drives DH mad) but I'm very very good at voices so the Archers is perfect for me Grin. I think Freddie's outburst is only the start of SATTC redux - he must tell Lily (who cannot keep her mouth shut) and maybe Josh at some point...and of course if Josh knows Pheebs will also find out.

Roy deserves everything he gets, I thought at LoxFest his shoving Dan out of the way and saying he'd deal with Freddie was really out of line - Dan is family, Roy is clearly not - it's very well done in terms of both Roy and Lizzie not being able to delineate work/personal.

About Fallon and Harrison.....

Isn't having a close relative with a criminal record a no-no for partners of police officers? If so, Harrison must have known that when he arrested Wayne.

Looking forward to tonight's episode.

I love Snowman's idea that Knob has another wife and family stashed away somewhere and that Jess was his original bit on the side - it would explain Jess's cryptic comment that Helen had no idea what she was getting herself into and Knob's mother's bemusement in the phone call.

cheminotte · 05/09/2014 18:54

I recognised Jess's voice too! stealth boast

WhatWouldFreddieDo · 05/09/2014 19:03

CheeseBored · 05/09/2014 19:04

BuildYourOwnSnowman · 05/09/2014 19:05

At last! A confrontation!

And ursula speaks to Jess - that scraps my previous theory

Shallishanti · 05/09/2014 19:06

yay! it's Rob's

WhatWouldFreddieDo · 05/09/2014 19:07

fab, she's telling it like it is Grin

BuildYourOwnSnowman · 05/09/2014 19:08

Who would have thought rob would have that impact on women?

Shallishanti · 05/09/2014 19:09

'I don't know what you're talking about'
.....really, Helen?

BuildYourOwnSnowman · 05/09/2014 19:10

Bloody irresistible? What? Am I listening to someone else?

WhatWouldFreddieDo · 05/09/2014 19:10

Shalli just what I yelled at the radio!
