Just don't be so careless with your watch Helen

Any calls of 'Mummmeeeeeeeeeeeeee' get very short shrift around here at 19.02 :o

If Rooth's cancer has come back, then she won't die surely? 3 out of 4 kids widowed is ridiculous

FunLovinBunster · 09/03/2014 19:45

Nee-yul. Not the brightest tool in the box. Just a tool, really.

FunLovinBunster · 09/03/2014 19:46

Not bovvered if Roooth dies.
But if Peep makes an appearance for the funeral I will be mightily fucked off.

bracken101 · 09/03/2014 19:58

Is it just me who thinks Ruth is pregnant?

MataHairy · 09/03/2014 20:02

Ooh I thought that as well Bracken! Haven't heard tonight's episode but reckon Davs and Ruth are getting some baby-shaped drama heading their way.

boobashka · 09/03/2014 20:06

How old is Roooth? Too old for babies, no? Early fifties I had her down as. Confused

Panzee · 09/03/2014 20:10

They wouldn't knock her up so soon after Vicky, would they? I agree about menopause.

TheOneWithTheNicestSmile · 09/03/2014 20:26

Ruth is 45 -just the right age for a peri-menopause baybee

deep joy Hmm

(when was their anniversary trip...?)

TheOneWithTheNicestSmile · 09/03/2014 20:28

(I've obv taken my eye off the ball. I knew she was going to be pregnant with another little Brookfielder the night Ben was conceived )

MataHairy · 09/03/2014 20:34

Ohh hadn't thought that they've just trotted this out with Vicky. It would be very soon to have another unexpected baby woldn't it but feel free to follow a Hellin and/or Jess falling pregnant storyline please scriptwriters

cheminotte · 09/03/2014 20:34

What's a peri-menopause baby please? Like Vicky you think don't need contraception any more then whoops!

MataHairy · 09/03/2014 20:34

wouldn't

bracken101 · 09/03/2014 20:38

Either way, I'm sure they will string us out for aaaaaages!

SomewhereBeyondTheSea · 09/03/2014 21:12

Loving the '13 mins a day' thread title idea ...

PseudoBadger · 09/03/2014 21:23

That is a good title - as long as there are no major plot points between now and the time it is required :o

Tea always seems to be ready just at 7 here so always have to listen on catch up. Sometimes if I work late I get to listen on the walk home. Did any one else think Helen sounded a bit frightened when leaving the message for Rob ? She must see that most people are not made to feel like this? When I got engaged I asked my DP if we could keep it quiet for a little bit partly because I wanted a couple of days to get used to it but if he had told someone I would have been ok with it LIKE NORMAL PEOPLE!

Must say this whole story line is so well done - in lots of ways Rob seems plausible but the whole sneaky phone calls are very sinister.

ZeroSomeGameThingy · 09/03/2014 23:36

I'd forgotten about the anniversary trip....

Is anyone else squeamish about eyes and dreading tomorrow?

BiscuitMillionaire · 09/03/2014 23:49

Is Fallon going to get it together with Daniel while working on the sport relief thingy? That's my guess.

ComposHat · 10/03/2014 00:34

Daniel the most boring teenager in the world does something vaguely interesting shock!

So he'll be getting some relief, albeit not of a sporting variety.

ZeroSomeGameThingy · 10/03/2014 00:37

Interesting idea. They are both at a loose end at the moment. Dan's grand gap year seems to have fizzled away - endless hanging out with friends - and poor Fallon hardly ever seems to leave Borcestshire. But I wonder if nearly thirty year old Fallon would find anything attractive in only just ex-schoolboy Dan.

Redcliff · 10/03/2014 07:39

I wondered that about Fallon and Dan as well but agree - much to old but I bet Dan wouldn't think so.

ComposHat · 10/03/2014 09:35

It would be fun to see Smugula's reaction.

I imagine most teenager boys of that age would shag the barber's floor if there was hair on it, so I don't think the age gap would be a problem for him.

I have earmarked the Ambridge power couple name 'Faniel' for them.

WillieWaggledagger · 10/03/2014 09:52

how are they related? are they step-cousins (if that is a thing)? not by blood obv

ppeatfruit · 10/03/2014 09:55

Sorry Compost but I had to LOL at that comment about the barber's floor Grin Grin

WRF to feasible Titchy was anyone a bit Hmm about Adam thinking he's fine FFS he works with him IIWM It'd be impossible to not be aware of a bit of EA even in working conditions. Maybe i'm too sensitive.

AllMimsyWereTheBorogroves · 10/03/2014 11:01

Shula and Kenton are twins. Kenton is married to Fallon's mother. So Shula is Fallon's step-aunt, I suppose, and yes, that makes Fallon and Daniel step-cousins. I don't think that really is a thing, though! Grin
