GypsyFloss · 03/03/2014 18:57

...but leave your knickers on ;)

nauticant · 03/03/2014 19:07

Oh, this farm shop conversation is hilarious. Neat writing.

boobashka · 03/03/2014 19:08

Oh I love Clare in the Community Compo - don't get the chance to hear it much - but yes - I see (hear) the similarity between her and Hell.Smile
Hell's tone is particularly superior tho.Angry

Shallishanti · 03/03/2014 19:09

move the sheep to higher ground!
call Gabriel Oak!

BasketzatDawn · 03/03/2014 19:13

For ages I assumed it was same actress for Clare and H. It was my teenaged son who put me right!! I think Hell sounds less Clare-like these days. less superior cos she is happier perhaps. Not that it will last of course. Sad

BasketzatDawn · 03/03/2014 19:15

Goodness, will Roothie end up with an inferior complex?Wink I missed a bit of dialogue - is Jill having her eye op next week??

ErrolTheDragon · 03/03/2014 19:34

Goodness, will Roothie end up with an inferior complex?

I hope not. Jill was a farmer's wife - Ruth is a farmer.

Swannykazoo · 03/03/2014 20:07

I'm taking my archers thread bow as the spotter of the hellin/clare in the community voice double,

Sad thing is I've thought it for AGES but had no-one to tell - hurray for this thread Grin

BasketzatDawn · 03/03/2014 20:42

I agree, Errol, but David was going on rather a lot about the quality of the soup and R is famous for not cooking much/well. it's nice hearing her and MIL getting along so well though.

ZeroSomeGameThingy · 03/03/2014 21:53

I'm a bit worried about Ruth looking "tired". Although with Shula and Elizabeth both widowed I assume they would not do that again....

If she's very ill on Monday that might give Jill yet another excuse to postpone her eye appointment.

But Helen! Exactly how will Rob dispose of her severed body parts when she reveals the great "shared wedding planner" plan? (Given that his own idea seems to involve waiting for their bus passes to go on honeymoon....)

ErrolTheDragon · 03/03/2014 21:58

Ruth would have to be superwoman not to be tired after lambing and with a soggy farm, surely?

Bluestocking · 03/03/2014 22:04

Not sure I can cope with David's soup-induced orgasm on top of all the HellRob slurping. Confused

WillieWaggledagger · 03/03/2014 22:07

David is almost ALWAYS eating recently

Bluestocking · 03/03/2014 22:12

It used to be Alan who was always talking with his mouth full. Wasn't he called The Reverend Bunter?

WillieWaggledagger · 03/03/2014 22:14

I am wondering about Glebe cottage for T&K...

WillieWaggledagger · 03/03/2014 22:16

Lol you would think Jill would point out the eating with mouth full. Was he dragged up?! It's v off putting to listen to

CuttedUpPear · 03/03/2014 23:37

David's soup-induced orgasm Envy bleurgh

nennypops · 04/03/2014 00:00

Strange how Ambridge seems suddenly to be having much more rain than anywhere else in the country.

cheminotte · 04/03/2014 06:29

Its obviously taken them a few weeks to catch up.

I'm glad Jill is finally going to have her op. Anyone care to work out what waiting time was? It hadn't been mentioned before had it?

AllMimsyWereTheBorogroves · 04/03/2014 07:04

I don't know how big Glebe Cottage is, but surely at least two bedrooms, given that Shula and Alistair lived there with Daniel before they bought The Stables. A pretty cottage in the centre of a village like Ambridge must cost a small fortune - way over what Tom and Kirsty can afford, I'd have thought.

WillieWaggledagger · 04/03/2014 07:15

Undoubtedly all mums but you have to take into account the ambridge fairy, which could easily overcome those obstacles

WillieWaggledagger · 04/03/2014 07:49

bah

allmimsy sorry

AllMimsyWereTheBorogroves · 04/03/2014 08:26

No need to apologise, Willie! It is a shame that it's unlikely to go to anyone we already know - at least, I can't think of anyone. Unless maybe Rob will buy it with Helen? Honeysuckle is rented. I assume Rob is on quite a high salary.

AllMimsyWereTheBorogroves · 04/03/2014 08:27

Does the Ambridge Fairy still visit, or has Sean O'Connor seen her off as he appears to have done with Darrell?
