I cannot listen to Helen slurping over Rob, though reckon its going to be a great story line for Christmas.

The golf club story is really annoying me. How much authority does Martyn actually have? Is he self-appointed? If you were Kathy, wouldn't you be going over his head to the committee to check that his decisions are OK with them. Is there a strategy or plan, or is it lots of little pennypinching niggles?

And wouldn't you, as part of the new efficiency drive, insist that certain people's tabs were paid off on a weekly basis?

I presume that it is one of those lecture-hidden-in-a-storyline things they do, like when the Ministry of Agriculture slip in their latest bit of farming advice.

Yes I agree, I normally quite like Amex but this one is just dragging on and on. At least 4 episodes too long.

I agree Humphrey It's about time Kathy grew a pair and walked out (I reckon he's angling for that anyway). She'll have a teacher's pension won't she,must be approaching retirement anyway.

Kathy needs to do more than just walk out, she needs to wait till the most inconvenient moment leaving Martin to cope on his own, and kick him somewhere painful before she goes.

My issue with that is that Linda so clearly wants the top job. So she may 'allow' Kathy to do her job so she can move up, but I don't think she'd be happy to have her as the boss.

Maybe they could 'share' the job
