Divatheshopaholic · 09/07/2010 13:04

Question what liner would you have on this?

nicolamumof3 · 09/07/2010 13:51

My new black xt fashion show!

dunoon classic is same as xt chassis i am sure? covers would be too big for quest i would imagine.

anyone like a maclaren liner in yellow roses before i ebay/return?

i don't think it would no, more of a bottle holder tbh. have you seen the m&p one?

nicolamumof3 · 09/07/2010 13:53

have you had a look at the mac liners diva? be a sham to cover that lovely fabric tho i think?

FlyMeToDunoon · 09/07/2010 14:49

Will look at the M&P thanks.
XT looks fab. Green liner my favourite. I really like the yellow roses but don't use my mac atm.
I just bought the chilli cybex HBB on sale from M&P DP will be horrified. Might need to hide it somewhere.
Agree with Nicola Diva, I wouldn't have a liner or if a must then plain black one.
DD3 got some sort of tummy upset. Perfectly happy but has an explosive bottom. Other DDs will have to get home on their own.

lovely nicola and do you feel the love for your new xt again?

Geek i am thinking of having a 40th birthday party and maybe you could all come to scotland in December

Flyme cybex looks good and why not eh oh and never you fear of pauses with me there are none and you know i would like you i am a real chatter box so i am good at filling in the gaps. hee hee still if we are all meeting up then that will be fine eh.

Maxy have you found my Auntie Joan yet!!!!

nicolamumof3 · 09/07/2010 17:55

evening all...how hot is it down here eh dunoon? its stifling. Trying to confine boys to garden whilst i mop floors and hoover.

the yellow roses reverses to the green. I am keeping the red lineryes really really pleased with xt again. So much easier a push with a toddler. Sorted!!

This is why i bought the grey one you see to try it out again and in love with the xt all over again!!

5inthebed · 09/07/2010 19:53

Nicola XT looks lovely. The new hinges look odd though, does it fold/unfold easier with them like that? Not overly keen on the yellow roses for a boy, but thats just me. The green is nice as is the red.

Been around town today getting some ideas for my house. The workmen were there today, but wouldn't let m in to have a look around because of health and safety. Sods.

Hope you're feeling better Nicola. I was very tearful yesterday for no reason, it does get on top of you sometimes, looking after children all day long and getting no help from your OH.

maxybrown · 09/07/2010 20:22

Not here for long BUT Basl - Auntie Joan was there, but I only caught a wave and a smile as she was out on the sea (a long way out as you know) water ski ing would you believe?!

We are hoping to move back to Devon in next couple of years.......friends again, yippee!!!!!!!

I want to come to Scotland in December please!! (invites herself anyway)

Right, away again now, byeee!!

horsemadgal · 09/07/2010 20:32

Ahh normal service resumes.

Good to see you back Nicola.

Divatheshopaholic · 09/07/2010 20:37

Nicola, Xt is nice and i like green liner on. I rarely use my volo, it was seriously wheeled around yesterday, though. May be i should not bother getting liner after all.
Basl, me and Maxy and Geek we will all come to your party I still debating meet up
We should all meet up without children, not like i dont love my children, but sometimes i love me time, and being real human, not android

nicolamumof3 · 09/07/2010 20:56

i love xt, folds same 5in. Roses liner is on ebay now!

sal1309 · 09/07/2010 21:12

maxybrown · 09/07/2010 21:25

no children sounds like Heaven to me, would love a girly giggle.

Sooooooo hot. Even hotter over your way Nicola/dunoon - urgh!

Can you remember girls going on and on about how the cold and rain never seemed to end?

basl · 09/07/2010 21:30

Evening ladies, One of those days today where i could not be bothered doing anything and yes i know that teary feeling 5in and always feels for no reason. Real bad mood tonight but went out for my long walk but pushed Daniel this time and i did feel better doing that. Always feel a bit of an eejit walking on my own but i like dreaming away to myself when i walk. So when i arrived at my sister's Daniel was screaming with excitement to get out so we stayed a while. So by the time we got home i was feeling much brighter. You can't beat a walk to clear the cobwebs.

Maxy hope you are enjoying southport and so pleased you spotted Auntie Joan. She really should slow down a bit now and put her ski's away for now.

Well i am definately coming down to you girls anyway at some point but i am thinking of having a big party. I could organize the travel inn etc and transport to the party and then a good old meet up the next day. Kids will always be welcome but i would leave that up to you.

maxybrown · 09/07/2010 21:31

oooh exciting basl!!

basl · 09/07/2010 21:38

I always said i would never have a party but i think it would give me a huge incentive pressure to get the weight off for my 40th and i would love a big get together. How great would it be to have all my mums net friends at my birthday. I certainly want to be a lot happier this year than i was last year. I had my fortune told in Blackpool and she said I will start to lead my life like it should by the end of the year. She kept saying all my troubles will be so much better by the end of the year and start living Did i really look like i was turning 40 then

Maxy what are you doing about your three wheeler then? Are you going to get janx mb? I thought i would never use mine again now nursery is finished but i will be walking lots now and Daniel was not too bad at sitting all the way.

FlyMeToDunoon · 09/07/2010 21:40

basl how could I say no to you
Yes too hot today and worse over the weekend. I will be staying in as much as poss.

nicolamumof3 · 09/07/2010 21:47

agree dunoon i just find getting the washing in exhausting at the moment it really is baking.

But yes you are right maxy it was a v.v.long winter.

Basl when you thinking of?

When i was teary the other night i fancied a walk, but so used to pushing pushchair i felt strange going alone!!

I've packed nipper away again, so its just xt for me.

maxybrown · 09/07/2010 21:59

yeah hopefully get MB - I need to do some power walking and need 3 wheeler for that

Right off to bed, night x

nicolamumof3 · 09/07/2010 22:02

night night maxy.

basl · 09/07/2010 22:04

Oh i am getting a bit excited again. I would love you to come girls really i would. My birthday is on the 22nd of December but i don't know if it would be ok to have a party before my actual birthday ? What do you think? I know people have work nights out etc so maybe if i had it before then? If we tried to put a little away we could always go to Edinburgh for a day out the next day sore head permitting. It's a long time from now so we could save a bit. I just not sure when to have it. My mum keeps telling me i would regret letting it go past without a bash. My sister had a house party against her will but she loved it.

Nicola i could not be bothered tonight and was heading for a bit of a rant with the kids so off i went and i felt so much better within no time. I think it feels different walking to feel better than charging back and forward to nursery. I completely shut off although that little fog horn voice of daniels was slightly putting me off. He kept shouting "daddy's car ohh ohhh Daddy's van" at every silver car and british gas van that went past.

nicolamumof3 · 09/07/2010 22:08

lol luka keeps saying 'oooh our holiday car that one' to any blue metallic car!!

Those of you with dh's home in the evening are soooo lucky. I could never escape just like that.

Being honest i think December would be really tough one to get away. Terry starts flat out end of November and barely gets a break. Would you do it in January?

BexieID · 09/07/2010 22:24

Guess who is back from her hols?!

Been a busy week, went to Drayton Manor/Thomas Land and to the RAF musuem in that area. Then monday we went to Havens Golden Sands at Mablethorpe (where DPs uncle lives and we saw more of his family nr Nottingham). We went to beach but had to come off due to a plaque of sand flys! Lots of shops in Mablethorpe selling Jive buggys for some reason. Forgot to ask where PIL got their BJCM from last year (they paid £130 for it inc r/c), how they got it home from there in the car.

The hood on the Moonkiss is crapola, the basket came off and i'd only put Toms juice cup in it and the raincover was all ripped, grr. Thankfully it only drizzled that one day. So, am trying to remember what hood is like on a Zapp.....

Did I miss anything whilst away?

BexieID · 09/07/2010 22:26

Oh Basil, your b/day is same as Erins
