Is it Bexie awww tell erin i won't forget her birthday then Wee shame hope she does not get grief like i do. "oh it's your birthday and i have so much to do" and "oh i have put your birthday and christmas together hope thats ok" No it bloody well wasn't i always feel like i was a burden for people as they were getting stressed about christmas.

Nicola January is a good idea but i would not have the party then i don't think or maybe i could? I will have a little confab about that tomorrow. It was my Auntie Ann's 60th last week and she had a little celebration but she wants to take me, my sister and mum out for lunch tomorrow because she could not invite us and then in Aug we are taking her to Edinburgh Festival.

maxybrown · 10/07/2010 07:43

Basl your birthday is same day as DH's so I won't forget yours either!

nicolamumof3 · 10/07/2010 08:19

carrielou2007 · 10/07/2010 10:49

Morning, very muggy here but overcast.

My new Bee+ says out for delivery I want it now

Nicola why am I looking at pics of your black xt and wanting to sell my black xt that has not been used yet so I can buy a new one with the new hinge covers?!! Mind you when I saw the pics of Coll Rooney with one I did vow to sell it then

My house is a tip, toys eveywhere, bought loads of clothes for dc yesterday in sale in Asda, Matalan (all englnad stuff so bought loads of tops and jumpers for the winter all like a pound!!) fab cot coverlet and blanket 75% off in M and P for ds and dd's HBB came. Yet I am sat here on the laptop whilst ds is snoozing and dd watching a dvd insted of cleaning I am a lazy moo

Basl why are you so far away I really really feel I need to meet you, you are like a kindred spirit .

I hope we can all still have a meet up maybe in aug but I will have to bring both dc with me as though their dad has been here fair bit since ds arrived we can not rely on him for anything. He was supposed to come over yesterday as I had a xray and didn't want to take dc with me, changed the appt to last one of the day and he never showed. When I asked him he said he had 'forgotten'

basl · 10/07/2010 11:57

Hiya, i am off now in 5min for lunch with mum, sister and Auntie. My auntie loves shopping and i so like me you would not believe. She passed on her love for shoes to me and nearly caused me a fatal accident when i was little. She gave me a whole box of platform shoes to play with and i would not go anywhere in the house without a pair on. I had a rather clumsy fall but still continued to wear them.

My little darlings are suffering too many late nights syndrome and poor dh has them all day. I do feel bad but hey i feel better now He will have his turn next week when h3e is out on the town in Edinburgh.

I have my hair all done up a new ditsy dress and floaty black trousers on. Perfume and make up. I feel tonns better than i did yesterday and my dh said when i look like this it makes him smile like when the sun come out. Excuse me while i puke.

Carrie such a huge compliment to be a kindred spirit with you. I am very flattered and that just gave me that extra little spring in my step.

Are mood swings not funny eh. I felt so rotten yesterday and did have a few tears but after that walk a good sleep and a little tlc in the clothing department and a BREAK FROM THE KIDS so meet up in Augus is a definate. Must run now xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

5inthebed · 10/07/2010 12:46

GeekOfTheWeek · 10/07/2010 18:10

Hi all,

I am definately up for a meet up and a trip to basls party.

I am today. Dh and i had an appt at a clinic in manchester that specialises in checking moles. We both have a none urgent referral for one on the leg (not worried) but dh has a highly suspicious one on his back. We have paid extra for specialist review of pics within 48 hours, followed by urgent plan of treatment. I can't stop crying. Am so worried.

Divatheshopaholic · 10/07/2010 18:11

Btw, Strawberries pics in the profile
Nicola, so envy you got your own personal top chef
I stood outside and did whole a lot of ironing been waiting for weeks Phew

basl · 10/07/2010 18:54

Geek that must be a very worrying time for you. My mums friend has had treatment for a highly suspicious mole and the it was a great success. I know many people that have have such treatments ranging from skin cancer to cancerous moles to just suspicious moles and every one a success so easy for me to say but i hope you can take comfort in that you have had a specialist review and very quick treatment if needed. My best friend in fact has had the same and she was delighted with the result. Hope you get it sorted soon and i send my love xxxx

On a different note i am so pleased you would come to my party.

Nicola what kind of shorts are you after. New look have ever shape and length. I love curry soooo much you lucky thing. I do highly recommend a day out with the girls in the afternoon it is so nice. Had a lovely day and lol loads.

Flyme swimming lessons sound great. I would love to get olivia started.

5inthebed · 10/07/2010 19:41

Divatheshopaholic · 10/07/2010 21:45

Geek, Im sorry i havent seen your post, must have been seconds before mine.
I hope your dh is ok, and the procedure goes well for him. Are they removing it? then? Its worrying that, things can be happened so quick and be dangerious. Please let us know how he go. Will be thinking of you and family.
Basl, good luck on driving lesson. If i learnt to drive then you will I was terrible for first a few weeks and then it suddenly cracked and it took me 2.5 month. Mind you i passed my second driving test. You will be fine.

nicolamumof3 · 10/07/2010 22:33

I have yearly mole checks as have had a few suspicious looking moles in the past. luckily none have come back bad when they have been removed. I hope you're Dh is the same x

nicolamumof3 · 10/07/2010 23:06

lillypie · 11/07/2010 07:57

Morning all still hot here!

geek try not to think the worst I know it's hard but all our thoughts are with you xx

basl don,t forget me when the meet up is arranged

nic I am sorry you have been feeling a bit down I think we all have times like that don't we?Luckily when you have children something will always happen to make you smile again even if it's just chubby arms around your neck and a jammy kiss.

I had an odd moment yesterday. My dads brother turned up my work ,I haven't seen him since I was pregnant with DS1 about 28 years ago.My dads whole family disowned me because the father of my sons is black.None of them have ever met my boys and my Dads parents died without ever even seeing a picture of their first grandchildren.

It was a big shock at the time because my mothers family embrace all races and cultures,so I was very very hurt and it caused a lot of friction between my mum and dad.

Anyway yesterday a very sad old man (he has very recently lost his wife of more than 50 years to cancer)held my hand and said sorry.

I was fine while he was in front of me but as he walked away I was completely overcome with emotion. It was almost like being punched in the stomach!!I was in floods of tears and had to go out side and get my self together.I think was a sudden letting go of years of hurt and resentment. Anyway I sat and had a chat to him on my break and it was nice.We swapped numbers and hopefully will stay in touch.

On a more upbeat note carrie I would love to give your scrummy boy a cuddle some time

Right I off now I have to be a pony with Isobel and then we are trotting off to the carboot sale

Have a great day everyone!!
