Afternoon (I'm still here!!)

My stupid computer again, running very slow this morning then lost the wireless again, on the phone to sky for an hour and three quarters they can't sort it out so I am back to holding in a cable to get online . It then takes 5 mins to connect back up every time.

Just had to wash the hall floor again with a rag (another unsuccessful attempt to get this baby out) crying in frustration with the bloomin thing!! Now feel so much better have just ordered one of those bargain quests . I bought the 99.99 one from Kiddicare so will stick this one on ebay to see if I can make a bit back but not yet as bound to be loads go on there

Oh carrie - mind yourself with floor washing....now shall i buy one of those quests?

They will take it back without a receipt if you can tell them what store it was bought from and when. So if someone has recently bought one they could just tell you where and when and you wouldn't need a receipt. The only other time they will do it is if you have one of the Mothercare yellow stickers they provide with all their pushchairs.

no, mothercare wont do exchange if you dont have receipt.i had faulty cam cover and they said they are aware of buying/selling prams stuff on ebay.apparently the number of stuff exchanged and faulty increased without receipt, although i insisted i have card statement, they still didnt help, becuase the statement only shown amount not item name.
for those reasons i dont shop at mothercare. i only bought pack of pyjamas in 2years.

they only have green apples, orange/grey quest and red kath kidston so cant really swap it...

I have bought the apples quest....getting it sent to my mums while I think of a reason why we need it.....feeling guilty now - tell me its a good idea - I wanted another pushchair apart from my xlr, but dp will think I am barking

Diva They did it for me when I looked after my cousin's DC whilst she went on holiday and it broke on me. I couldn't get receipt or sticker cos it was at their house but rang their mum and she knew when it had roughly been bought at which shop and they looked it up and sorted it.

Do people really do that, buy somthing off ebay and try to take it back some where else ?? I wouldn't have thought they would without a receipt, never even thougt they would exchange but I always keep receipts anyway.

I'm wondering if I can return my quest to kiddicare, I think you only have7 days though and have to pay to return so may just hang fire for a bit then stick it on ebay say in the spring.

Mothercare won't give you a refund without a receipt but they will sometimes repair/exchange.

Dis Would you swap it for black/champagne or black/scarlet cos if so you could try Toys R Us?
