Hello! Well I will.....but I think Jan wants to see if they fit

janx · 14/01/2010 19:49

Sorry am in a right funny mood ....havn't had a great afternoon - with ds and dd taking it turns to have tantrums - dd cos her friend wasn't able to come over after school and ds cos he is 2 and doesn't want to have his nappy changed/turn off the tv/go to bed etc. Have just spent the last 30 minutes lying on their bedroom floor trying to get ds to stop yelling...have just called dp to tell him to bring fish ad and chips home.

Right - am I being a mare wanting the tops?

maxybrown · 14/01/2010 20:27

Oh Jan! Poor you. Hope you have your fish & chips now. No not being a mare at all!

nicolamumof3 · 14/01/2010 20:47

5inthebed · 14/01/2010 21:06

Just found out DH is working all weekend . I hate it when he has to work all weekend. Means I've got all three boys running riot. Aaaaargh.

nicolamumof3 · 14/01/2010 21:35

oh 5in i feel you're pain hope w/end goes quickly for you.

Glad you are loving BJCC Dunoon

janx · 14/01/2010 21:48

Right - had my fish and chips and watching american idol - am feeling more chilled out! Have paid you nic....did you see nunnies post about personal payments and putting your address on it?

Maxy - don't be daft - I was the one faffing. I probably have them for a month and then give you a shout

nicolamumof3 · 14/01/2010 21:54

Thanks yes got payment. Yes i did see that about personal payment. grrr!

5inthebed · 14/01/2010 21:56

I am going to hunt down a pram for myself. We were meant to go car shopping, but now can't because he is working I could scream.

I need your opinion on the BJCC Dunoon . I think I'm going to buy that or the BJCE. I want an all terrain pram after hving to drag the BJCM through the snow.

maxybrown · 14/01/2010 21:58

OK Jan

I'm gonna have a clear out I think, too much stuff sat around. Might do ebay with it all as free listing on Sunday! Or then again I may not bother lol. I feel bit wary of ebay these days, but some things go for such silly good prices atm

Jan please email me if those tops don't turn up as may not be on here for next few days, didn't want you to think I was ignoring you!

FlyMeToDunoon · 14/01/2010 22:08

What is the thing about personal payments and addresses? Link please.
5in what would you like to know?

FlyMeToDunoon · 14/01/2010 22:10

Found it!
Yes grrrr

5inthebed · 14/01/2010 22:14

Just want to know what you think of the way it handles. Is it light to push etc. MAybe I should just give up on the whole pram thing and put the money towards another car.

There is a car for sale ner us, same as the one I crashed but less miles and younger. DH thinks I'm mad getting the same car, but I liked Bob, he was a good car, I miss him

maxybrown · 14/01/2010 22:26

Ooh yes I'd like to know that too dunoon! I am thinking that if I go on and on about it enough to DH then he may relent......yeah and you know what thought did!!

What car was/is it 5in?

FlyMeToDunoon · 14/01/2010 22:40

Ok in return for opinion on Boden trousers! [see above]
BJCC feels light like the MB and nipper.
It handles very well, feels easy to push even with 3 yr old in.
Tall handle height.
Feels generally tall and narrow. Not that seat is narrow but wheel base and handle bar.
Have mixed feelings about the recline method- straps with plastic lock thing.
Basket slightly difficult to access from the back.
Hood clunky in design.
Slight movement in handle bar junction. Common in adjustable handle bars but slightly insecure feeling. Same could be said of XT handles I guess.
Handy storage on back of seat.

How is that?

5inthebed · 14/01/2010 22:48

Fab Dunoon

I had a Fiat Stilo. It was like the tardis inside. Bob was blue, but the one for sale is silver. I want it and I want it now

maxybrown · 14/01/2010 23:02

lol, dunoon, I would have no idea on girls Boden sorry can't be of more help. have you looked on ebay at completed for a rough idea?

Thanks for that info though I watched it on youtube too and noticed th clunky hood. I am a bit wary of adjustable handles in that way that might put me off....darn it!

nicolamumof3 · 14/01/2010 23:05

Stick with your nipper maxy

have you seen those quest apples now 84.50 on additions/very!!! can't bloody believe it! so i've had to order another lol.

nappyaddict · 14/01/2010 23:21

carrie Don't forget to road test the Switch and the Bee with DD in so I can tell my friend how they compare

She wants to know for both in rear facing mode:

  1. Which is easiest to steer
  2. Which is lightest to push
  3. Which is lighter to get up kerbs

Thanks xx

FlyMeToDunoon · 14/01/2010 23:23
