I love that bag, I have it - it is FAB for swimming or beach bag

FlyMeToDunoon · 13/01/2010 22:34

Hi. I watched the beloved NCIS season premiere.
Will try to put up some pics tomorrow. It's difficult now because DP is at home during the day and uses the laptop, then DD1 wants it in the early evening.
DP also 'cleaned up' the computer and put my pics folder in the trash. Then had to get it back out when I noticed. The sooner he gets a job the better!
I enjoyed Slumdog Millionaire when I saw it. Was worried it would be too upsetting but really liked it.

horsemadgal · 13/01/2010 23:02

Hey carrielou, Bee seat unit is a bugger to attach until you get used to it.
Do you have instructions?

carrielou2007 · 14/01/2010 06:10

Morning

Will have another bash (probably literally if I can't do it still!) at the bee later, you know when you KNOW it's obvious but you still just can't get it .

No instructions HMG but have been checking all the you tube vids, I am just missing something...also do you have to take the seat off to use the maxi cosi adaptors or can you use them on top of the seat?? Any more thoughts on the zapp ??

Going to get my induction date today, sweep, bit more monitoring etc, not sure why I agreed to go in at 8am !!

horsemadgal · 14/01/2010 07:35

Morning carrielou, you're up early!

You are supposed to be able to use the car seat straight on top of seat unit but I've never managed to!

To attach seat unit do the white sticky out bits first.
You should be able to see the 'holes' where they go into. Sort of rest them on there and then there's a white bit on back of seat that you squeeze together to make the sticky out bits go in. Do that and should slide into place.

Next you do the bits that are like arms with a metal bit on end. You squeeze the white buttons (one at a time) then the metal bit should go into place. You need to put it in at the right angle though.

It is tricky but easier the more you do it.

Not sure what to do re Zapp. Wondering if should hold out for cheap one with the seat. That local lady still not got back to me. Don't hold for me obviously.

sal1309 · 14/01/2010 08:06

morning all

good luck for today carrie no wonder your up so early.

free listing day on ebay on sunday so think im going to have a sort out lol.

nicolamumof3 · 14/01/2010 08:10

morning everyone!!

i still have black quilted babymel i just want another they have anew one out grey with red flowers on yum.

look or the stars one!

maxybrown · 14/01/2010 08:16

Morning everyone. Well I can't get any bloomin Boden code to work it just does nothing, even with cookies cleared. What a pain. Wonder why though?

nicolamumof3 · 14/01/2010 08:27

how annoying have you tried calling them? luckily nothing i want from boden atm esp after my big sale splurge!!

jan will take pics of smafolk tops later and email you and bag x

maxybrown · 14/01/2010 08:31

No, I am scared too in case they say well you can't use that code anyway damn them!! Although the site was odd yeterday morning. I had stuff in my basket that I didn't want and each time I emptied it it just put them all back in again!!!

I will have to try from my Mums when I go, at a diff IP address. Sigh. I want to get the coat before it sells out Went really quickly last year.

Sorry, going on I know!!

nicolamumof3 · 14/01/2010 08:40

no its ok im just the same as you know!!

terry told me last night that the boys have far too many clothes and he is right. i have to wind down Tates after the summer as he'll be at school! can't believe it.

horsemadgal · 14/01/2010 09:49

Oo what coat are you getting maxy?
The stripy one. Dibs when you sell please!!

DS1 needs a new summer coat but there's only that green camo one with yellow lining.

maxybrown · 14/01/2010 10:03

Yes that's the one. I don't like camo. The boys choice is once again poorer than the girls. really annoys me!

Yes DS has too many clothes too, DH does laugh about this really, but I only have the 1, so tough I say! Besides once he is at school, like you say, be less to buy as less time to wear it all!!

I am feeling very fed up today, I HATE feeling like this, makes me want to buy things - I must resist! Seeing Mum tomorrow though. Have to wait in for courier today, hopefully he should be here soon.

Has DH been up north yet Nic, or is he here now?

nicolamumof3 · 14/01/2010 11:18

he didn't go maxy because of weather so its postponed.

I have some boys coats spring ones to list soon. one is camo tho so no good for you maxy!! its next 18-24m lovely lightweight with soft jersey lining.

maxybrown · 14/01/2010 11:20

Ah I wondered!

No, just can't do it!! lol, will have a look though lol. I am on a Boden code mission atm though so very very busy.........yeah right

nicolamumof3 · 14/01/2010 11:22

right i also have a blue gap one with a bright blue fleece gilet prob too big tho as think age 3 will have a hunt what else as we always have far too many jackets!! Need to have sort out and do nother pic trail so i can start getting sorted for spring tate needs new trainers and all boys need new crocs/cons.

basl · 14/01/2010 11:29

Morning, nic i would be very interested in the 18-24 coats and anything of that age to be honest. I used to be so into buying clothes for Olivia to the point where i could sell huge bundles on ebay but i just have not been like that lately. I am so short on stuff for daniel. I am fussy and just find it hard to find things that look nice on the little chubber. I will keep a look out for your listing.
Maxy x

carrielou2007 · 14/01/2010 11:47

Booked for induction on tues MW said no chance labour would start and couldn't do stretch and sweep cervix too stupid

Nicola it's only the frame and adaptors, nothing else, I paid 28 got it on here so same plus postage.

Will have a go at the Bee when dd at playroup later, loving it already and that's just the chasis !!

basl · 14/01/2010 11:47

oops sorry maxy you can look first i did not notice your post.

maxybrown · 14/01/2010 11:54

don't be silly Basl! I have FAR too much! Should prob sell more really but can't quite manage it atm clothes for Ds is my real downfall.

Oh no carrie why no sweep? Sorry if too nosey.

I have a Gap jacket with a fleece lining that is age 3 funnily enough, wonder if it is the same? Fits him ok actually.

I am so bloomin cross with JOJo. Service has been diabolical of late. STILL no stuff to match those bottoms I had off you nicola and I ordered them same day i bought yours!!! cheek.

nicolamumof3 · 14/01/2010 12:03

jojo are soooo slow.

Right im into shoes now! Looking at converse in light blue, or denim fleece lined or dinosaur vans (for Tate) its a hard life full of decisions!!

will start taking piccies after lunch.

maxybrown · 14/01/2010 12:05

ok nicola.

I want some more red ones for James but will wait a bit longer. they have yellow boots in la redoute though!!
I have seen some kickers on ebay but not sure if too girly? Do I care?

nicolamumof3 · 14/01/2010 12:09

linky? im looking at lovely eggshell colour for tate for spring. plus he could wear them indoors at nursery on wet days when changes out of wellies.

maxybrown · 14/01/2010 12:17

what of the kickers? I'm frightened too in case everyone on here thinks they are fab and buys them before me lol you all won't, they are a bit whacky But i am a sucker for a buckle

maxybrown · 14/01/2010 12:18

or do you mean yellow cons? Eggshell colour cons?
