Hmm, I know what you mean, but my Bs is lovely and soft (I make sure of it! I hate scratchy stuff) much prefer it to the others! No lodgers are expensive, but then I'd rather just have lodger than loads of diff ones.....but then it's never been a thing of mine! But I can understand why it would be! Maybe because Ds is always hot anyway, it has never been worth it, but he does like the bunker.....strange child. they are worth it.....not that I paid £70 lol. keep a look out on ebay one sold for £30 ish last week!

Eek, well it will be smaller than my 3 wheelers and we don't really fold it that often, it will stay up in the living room as it will be my only buggy.

Hmmmm, will have to just see now

nicolamumof3 · 02/11/2009 18:43

i know that was nice colour too. i like the red as well. i change my footmuffs as soon as they get dirty and that can be every day, so i like to put a clean one straight on, hence my policy of two footmuffs per pushchair!! atm i haven't got one for maclaren. TBh its not really been footmuff weather down here, only first thing in morning. at lunchtime boys didn't even where coats to nursery. just jumpers. but mornings and late afternoon its chilly. was supposed to be going to sainsburys but couldn't get motivated. too late now

nicolamumof3 · 02/11/2009 18:44

how tall are you dis?

SparklyGothKat · 02/11/2009 18:44

I have an XT and XLR and the XT is lighter, but I like the XLR for the seat size. It is high, but I manage ok with it, and I am a shorty

Disenchanted3 · 02/11/2009 18:46

Im 5.4

SGK is tinnnnny so if she can handle it I'll be OK

nicolamumof3 · 02/11/2009 18:47

Exactly maxy is smaller than me too and likes it.

the seat size is fab for a toddler i must say so much wider.

SparklyGothKat · 02/11/2009 18:54

i was a bit worried as it was so high, but I like it

maxybrown · 02/11/2009 18:56

Yeah I love it Dis...I am 4ft 11"

Was freezing here today, but last week DS was in shorts 2 days . I have had the bunker on XLR since it came cos I love it but left it opened out. I am realising that maybe my DS is very clean in his pushchair I have only washed the BS about 3 times in 2 years but it is very clean honestly!! I don't do scabby pushchairs!! urgh....shudders.

SparklyGothKat · 02/11/2009 19:02

I am 4ft 11 and a half... (extra half an inch makes all the difference lol)

maxybrown · 02/11/2009 19:04

Yes and when they say petite clothing is 5ft 2 and under those extra 3 inches might as well be a foot!!!

My Mum is a bit shorter than I am and she has nver moaned about it.....let her try....

OP posts:
SparklyGothKat · 02/11/2009 19:11

oh the trousers had are made for 'petite' women, and when you try them on, you need to take them up as they cover half of your feet!!

maxybrown · 02/11/2009 19:13

yes, a whole thread could be done on that I reckon! M&S do an extra short petite in a "special" section

OP posts:
SparklyGothKat · 02/11/2009 19:17

ooo 'extra petite' 'extra shortarses!!'

I wanted some jeggings the other week, I had to search high and low for some that didn't cover my feet and were tight enough on my drainpipe legs pmsl!!

ScattyKatty · 02/11/2009 19:18

Evening! Someone down our road was moving and throwing out a crazy coupe so I nabbed it for DS. Gave it a good scrub and I think it's look lovely {grin] I do love free!

I'm 5.8 which means sometimes I need tall but they are always a bot too long but regular are a bit ankle flapping. We should all get tailored trousers

maxybrown · 02/11/2009 19:19

ooh I would LOVE tailored trousers.... yeah right....

OP posts:
maxybrown · 02/11/2009 19:20

BexieID · 02/11/2009 20:24

Orange/grey BJCM is nice, thats what the PILs got (for Tom) so Tom and baby both have a buggy each . Now thats not encouraging Tom to walk now is it?
